Throw away the scales – here’s how to weigh yourself
Megosztás
Some people just want to be thin, but there are others who truly want to look good. Unfortunately, these two are not the same, and while getting thin requires effort, the real challenge is achieving the right musculature that gives a woman that truly sexy physique.
Despite this, most women don't want muscles and don't want to be muscular. Throughout their lives, women are engaged in a bloody war with themselves and their appearance, and they measure the number of won battles by the smallest possible numbers on the scale. They can never win this battle with a simple diet, because the scale means nothing; only the mirror truly matters, but most women will never be able to grasp this.
How did the scale become a part of millions of women's lives? Why do they let an object that only displays numbers determine their well-being and self-image?
The answer is simple. Women are unable to evaluate realistically. Not only can they not place themselves in everyday life, but their judgment of their appearance largely depends on the outside world and the sum of external human opinions. A woman never sees herself as beautiful, or if she does and encounters a gaze that she cannot interpret, or even worse, negative feedback, she is capable of instantly overriding everything she thought about herself, the thickness of her thighs, her calves, the size of her breasts, or the certainty of her femininity.

Does the color of my shoes match my bag? Does this skirt make me look fat? Does the intensity of my makeup distract men's gaze too much from my cleavage, which I display, of course, for them to notice, but when they do, I get pissed off that they can't look me in the eye? Contradictions, a complete lack of rationality, and constantly changing emotional states, eternal dissatisfaction with their appearance. This characterizes women, this is the world of women. Chaos and uncertainty.
In this world, women seek anchors, they hope for self-justification, which in most cases they expect from a man, or the positive opinion of many men, and this is the main catalyst for seeking a sense of security. For a woman, there are no facts, no constant factorial values, they only need the appearance of things, illusions, a beautifully furnished apartment, a good-looking dream they can believe in, but if life dictates otherwise, they can easily feel the opposite is true. A woman can be convinced of anything, can be made to believe anything, even if the coefficients of the equation are completely incomprehensible. A woman wants to hear, because what the eyes are to a man, the ears are to a woman. If a man sees a beautiful female figure, his mind goes blank, and he doesn't care about the details. If a woman hears compliments, and words pleasing to her are whispered in her ear, then rationality ceases to exist, and vanity, which, as we know, is also called woman, overrides everything. This is the wonderful game between the two sexes, where men manipulate the female soul, and women manipulate men's eyes. But everything is allowed in war, and we are fighting this war for sex and ultimately for the preservation of the species, and it would be a huge mistake to hold others accountable for their instincts. Are men rotten jerks who are only after sex? In the eyes of women, yes, even though we only act on instinct. If you don't like it, feel free to file a complaint with the evolutionary committee.
Not that women need to be pitied so much, because after a certain age, a woman is aware of the different types of men and what to expect from each. Which guy just wants to sleep with her, which man will emotionally screw her over badly, but women don't care about that. They believe because they want to believe, and they are willing to fall into the same pit for the thousandth time, where their souls have been hurt and they have been exploited countless times. They know that the end of the road will be painful, but if the journey itself feels good, if they hear what they want to hear, and they get everything that nourishes their femininity and their existing or non-existing sense of beauty, then they disregard the facts completely, because the illusion and their vanity are stronger than rationally observing the chain of events.

So, in the chaotic world of women, there is only one certainty. The point to which, by its very nature, no emotions can be attached. Such is the world of mathematics and numbers. The scale is perfectly suited for this, and perhaps the only common denominator that connects mathematics as stability with the objective evaluation of women's appearance. Numbers don't lie, mathematics is a factor that even women's brains cannot override with any system of arguments, and emotions do not influence it.
A woman will never believe the mirror, because what she sees in it she simply cannot correctly interpret within herself, and she will never truly appreciate herself for what she is. Women are aware of their shortcomings and that they are terribly impressionable. A woman believes another person's opinion a thousand times more, no matter how subjective it may be, than her own eyes. I could write a thousand times that the scale is nothing, and you won't become a good woman by seeing continuously decreasing numbers on the scale, but by what you see in the mirror. It would be pointless to show you with thousands of pictures that muscle is indeed heavier than fat, and you might be 53 kilos now, but you will only look truly good and shapely, which requires muscles, at 60 or 62 kilos.

I'm posting this picture here, and in the minds of thousands of women, the realization will be born that damn it, I'm right, only the mirror truly matters, then they'll start exercising, putting on a few kilos of muscle, and then when the scale shows +4 kilos, they'll collapse and start insane diets until the scale shows less.
Muscle gives shape. That's what makes the butt round and not saggy, like from dieting. Muscle makes the thighs firm, and muscle prevents flabby arms. Muscle gives the body posture, those true feminine lines. No one becomes feminine from a emaciated body where the curve is provided by the skeleton, and above that, there's only tissue and skin. These things have been written a hundred times before me, and probably will be written a thousand times after me, but none of it matters, and never will. And precisely for the reasons I wrote above. This is how women are, this is how the female brain works, and no textbook, no hundreds of arguments, and most painfully, not even this post, will ever help with that.
But I'm not giving up. I'm making another attempt to explain to women that only inches matter, not the scale, but unfortunately, writing this for the twentieth time doesn't make much difference. Throw out the scale, okay, and look in the mirror, alright. That hasn't worked so far, we've discussed that too. So what's the solution?
Let's replace the scale with a tape measure.
This will be your new unit of measurement for body transformation, this will be the new indicator and the display of your progress. You see, the biggest problem with the scale is that even if it shows less, the texture of your body during sex feels like squeezing a bag full of water, which is not only embarrassing to feel but also to see, just as everyone has now imagined it. You lose 9 kilos, that's great, but your arms are flabby, your belly resembles the aforementioned bag, and if your butt is only held up by stockings, what will hold it up when you take them off? In short, the whole thing is crap as it is, so it's time to throw the scale as far away as possible so that no other woman finds it for their own good.
Once you've done that, let's finally turn our attention to the tape measure, and where exactly on which body part you should measure to make your change clear to you.
How to measure your body parts
Arms: Measure 10 centimeters up from the elbow bend towards the bicep, and then around. Measure both arms, because there can easily be 1-2 centimeter differences depending on which one you use more intensively. Try to equalize the two with your workouts.

Bust: Take off your bra and measure it that way. The tape measure should go over your nipples, and make sure the tape remains straight. Obviously, the illustration here is with clothes on, but you should take them off.

Underbust: Measure at the base of your breasts, and all the way around. The tape should also be straight here.

Waist: The part of your torso where you are narrowest.

Hips: Hips are what we grab during sex. Otherwise, the tape should go over the two hip bones.

Buttocks: Well, this is a new category. From the side, in the mirror, pinpoint the part of your butt that is furthest out.

Thigh: At the crease. At the top of the thigh. At the very top. Where it all begins.

Buttocks distance: This is also a new category. The distance between the leg crease and the line of your buttocks. Measure this to see how much your buttocks lift as a result of your workouts.

Calf: Measure 10 centimeters down from the bend of the knee, and then around.

IMPORTANT. Do not pull the tape measure tight while measuring yourself. The tape should never be too loose, but not so tight that it cuts into your skin. I'm not afraid that some people, just to see better results, will tighten the tape so much that their blood circulation stops, but please don't do that.
If you stick to your diet and regularly do weight training and interval cardio, the numbers will decrease radically, and how much better it will feel to record changes of -40 and -60 centimeters than to mess with a scale and cheer for 2 kilos.
