Day 0

Day 15

On October 28th, Adrienn ran 1200 meters in her physical assessment, ending with the words "I can't take it anymore." 23 days later, Adri ran 7.25 km with me, which included going up to Buda Castle and incorporating a stair climbing workout halfway. Adrienn used to run 2-2.5 kilometers when she trained alone, or did something very similar, which was the longest distance she had ever completed. For someone to make such progress in a short time, only one thing is needed, and that is psychological attitude, which fundamentally determines everything. This pushes you through dead ends, and this kind of mental boost doesn't allow you to give up on anything in life, because it will help you achieve your goals. The presence of this psychological advantage is the watershed between successful and failed people; it's important to clarify this, and we're no longer talking about the program here. Adrienn, as it turns out, possesses the quality that will enable her to achieve all the goals she sets for herself in life. Whether you have this factor will be shown to you crystal clear by the program; the only question is whether you are capable of facing it. If you start, you'll get the answers…

Adrienn

It feels like I started yesterday, and the program has already been going on for 15 days. Before I started, I expected something completely different. I thought it would be easier, then I realized over time that it wouldn't be as simple as I thought.

First, when I saw my diet, it seemed like a lot, so we cut it down a bit. It was hard to get used to eating five times a day, but I managed. The meals are well-chosen; my favorite is the banana smoothie day, I always look forward to it..:) Since I live with my family, it was unavoidable for my mom to bake just for me. But I handled the obstacle well; while my friends were eating waffles and cakes, I was having my (modest) dinner.

We have to drink 3 liters of water a day, and I'm still not always managing that. I never drank much, doctors told me I should drink more, but I'm working on it, and come hell or high water, I will get that amount of fluid in.

Speaking of water, I also had alcohol-free parties. I'm not saying I wouldn't have liked a drink, especially since they were practically putting them to my mouth, but I resisted, and in the end, I managed even better than those who drank.

We also started running, and I feel like I'm achieving more and more, which I'm very happy about. It's interesting because if I go out alone, my performance is worse, so I usually always call someone to come with me. I don't always enjoy running, although yesterday I ran the best distance of my life, 7.25km, which I was incredibly happy about. I wouldn't have thought it, as before I was struggling with 2.8km, and next time I'll run more than three times that.

I participated in my first RunTilt, which went very well, although I went with trepidation, but looking back, I had no reason to. The company was great, and the run was super despite the cold. I hope there will be even more of us at the next one, and then I'll run around the island with the others!

Bence helps and supports us a lot. Of course, it's no news that I like training with him the most because next to him, I feel like I can't give up; I have to show what I can achieve. Although sometimes I can get on his nerves with a comment or two, he handles it well.

Today I did the measurements and took photos of myself. I didn't see much change in myself; you'll see it too. But I wasn't (too) disheartened, because even small progress should be celebrated. So, as before, I'm giving my all, and perhaps even more. I know I still have much more perseverance and energy in me; I just have to work hard for them. :)
