Slim3 Mother Day 0
Megosztás
When I created Slim3, my primary goal was for the program to showcase the weight loss journeys of women living with weight problems, women we encounter daily on the streets because they live among us. Therefore, the main goal was for these three categories to cover a significant portion of women, allowing everyone to identify with the participants and for them to serve as role models for other women, thereby motivating them to start and inspiring them to complete their successful programs. Whether they want to or not, the Slim3 girls will become role models, just as Petra was. That's why these three women are doing this not just for themselves, but also for the many other women lost in the jungle of diets, and this is primarily why they agreed to public participation, not just for their own sake. Their potential failure will also be the failure of other women, which is not impossible, but if it happens, it will be public confirmation of everyday women's emotional instability and the loss of the battle against dieting. When selecting candidates, the mother category was the most obvious. 29 mothers applied for the program, but Erika was chosen well before the application deadline because it was so clear to me that she was the mother everyone would be able to identify with the most. I won't explain further, because the photos and videos say it all for me.
Erika is 32 years old, has been married for 14 years, and is raising 3 children with her husband in a village called Zámoly. Their daughter, Reni, is 14. I can't quickly list anything more challenging than the inner world of an adolescent girl, which will certainly hold some surprises and difficulties for Erika in completing the program. They also have a 5-year-old and a 2-year-old, but even if you killed me, I can't remember their names right now. Erika's 70 days will be followed by a cool 3,000 people, because as I found out, even though Zámoly is a village of several thousand, everyone knows everyone, and since Erika is a respected member of the local community as a mother and an acknowledged member as the local school's financial officer – whatever that means – an entire village is rooting for her. Erika is stable and very enthusiastic. Two other mothers have already joined her, and they will follow the diet and exercise plan with her. I consider it impossible for her to give up; I am the most confident in her out of the three women...

The essence of the mother category is that due to weight gain from childbirth and the subsequent madness of raising children, a woman has the least amount of time for herself. Raising children, keeping the family together, managing the household. After childbirth, a woman becomes not only a mother but also a wife, who simply cannot neglect herself, and it is a most natural need to regain her feminine, attractive self from before childbirth. This desire of a woman for herself should be a fundamental requirement. Around April, letters started pouring in from mothers asking me to write an exercise plan and diet for them that didn't require equipment and didn't require leaving home for long, because there was no one to watch the children. The father works, and as a mother, it is very difficult for her to leave home, but she still wants to exercise. Erika's program is my answer to these letters. This program is for mothers with young children and mothers with multiple children, at least on this blog.
Regarding Erika's fitness level, I think I can safely say it's below critical. I didn't have the girls do the physical assessment for nothing, but so they would face their actual physical condition, because women tend to believe that if they jump around to a Rubint Réka DVD 3 times a week at home or go to aerobics classes a few times, everything is fine, they are already fit, and they have done what they needed to do to maintain their bodies. Erika is also one such woman who thought she was in good shape because she runs to kindergarten for the children and attends an aerobics class organized by mothers, taught by the school's gym teacher twice a week. On Margaret Island, there was a lot of gasping for air and facing the fact that running 400 meters also caused serious problems, not to mention basic exercises like properly performing a single female push-up. Before I get too entangled in what women consider a sporty lifestyle, I'd cut it short by saying that jumping to a home cassette is WORTHLESS, and aerobics classes are only useful for becoming part of a community for an hour and a half. Erika now knows this too, and let her be the living example right from the start that these things are worthless, because if they were worth something, Erika wouldn't be here on the blog with 14 kg of excess weight. Think about that for a bit...
I put together Erika's program so that she doesn't even have to go near a gym, or even use a single dumbbell. The 70-day program will be based on 3 runs a week and a series of exercises that can be done at home, requiring no leaving the apartment at all, as the focus will be on working with her own body weight. In addition, there will be a 5-day rotating diet, which should be strictly followed, and of course, there are the food supplements that support the program.
Physical condition
The Slims completed the Ministry of Enforcement's fitness assessment on Margaret Island, obviously a heavily lightened version of it. This assessment was useful, among other things, because the girls will do this assessment halfway through the program and at the very end, illustrating how much stronger they have become and how much better they will perform in 2-3 months. This will be a control point for me and for you too, because it will prove that there is real work behind the program, not just a well-effected music video.
2,000m – 400 meters running, then rest, then walking after 300 meters in the second lap, so a total of 700 meters was completed.
100m – 20.6 sec
Sit-ups in 1 minute Max. – 19
Push-ups in 1 minute Max. – 22
Holding own weight (sec) – 0 sec
Shuttle run – 1:19:70
In the first 3 weeks, the goal will be to run 2 km. Initially, this will involve 400 m running and 200 m walking, gradually working up to running 2 km continuously by the end of the third week. Once that's achieved, we'll immediately increase the distance to 3.5 km, then 5 km, and I would really like to reach 7 km of non-stop running by the end of the program. So, 3 runs a week will be the cardio part of the program. Now come the strength training exercises, working with your own body weight, which can achieve very impressive results. There will be 5 different types of exercises targeting different body parts.

Erika
Thursday, November 3rd, from that day on, I will follow the diet and exercise as strictly as written, no more, no less... EXACTLY THAT MUCH... Until then, in the last 10 days, I will prepare, get what I need for my new lifestyle, plenty of water, chicken breast, 1.5% milk, salmon or sunfish /if not at METRO, I'll still have time to find a source/. This week, I'll set my water intake to 2.5 - 3 liters daily, if possible, more, we'll see, and I won't eat those little morsels my children left on their plates, I'll reduce my cookie eating to zero already. I don't want to start by thinking 'this is still okay for the last week'! It's not okay if I'm serious and want to see it through, it's not okay...
I haven't been to McDonald's in a long time, maybe March BUT LAST YEAR!! So I'm not addicted, though I like pizza. Even more so, cake! The creamier, the better, and the cheesecake I bake, and I think I'll make it as low-calorie as possible, but not even that now!!
I like to work out, an hour of relaxation, escaping from home when someone else watches the kids, and then it feels good.... Now running will be added to this.. Developments will come, I won't predict anything yet...
"You have to stay strong mentally, set a goal, and follow through. No excuses, no high bar, only a small person. There are no escape routes, only one path, at the end of which is the set goal."

I start every morning by taking my vitamins and whatever else is prescribed. Then, if I'm free, I drink my coffee with the usual 4-5 sweeteners and 1 dl of milk. Then I rush to kindergarten, by bike as far as possible, then by sled on the way home to the small shop (which is also a bakery, I've already discussed with the BAKER GENTLEMAN if I could get rye bread - real, the sourer the better, appearance doesn't matter - and he nodded, he'll make it for me). Here I can buy everything I need for my breakfast if it's not at home. I get home at 9:00 for breakfast, which is quite late. This breakfast thing will sort itself out, because eating every 3 hours means (9 breakfast, 12 snack, 15 lunch, 18 afternoon snack, 21 dinner - though I usually go to bed around midnight anyway). It will come naturally, in the first week when I have to stick to it, it will fall into place. Along with the exercise, which I have to do when Ádi is sleeping and they can watch him.
But it will be good, I can't wait.
