Slim3 Vivien 45 days later...

Something wasn't right about Vivien for me, ever since her 30-day post. I had issues with the pace of her weight loss, and that feeling has only grown stronger since then, but I thought I'd wait for the 45-day summary. However, I became increasingly convinced that the girl was faking it. Lifetilt is a program where if you don't do it properly, it immediately shows, because it has a system, and everything can be calculated. Out of the three slim girls, I only feel with Vivi that there's something fishy going on, so I started doing some calculations...

To burn 1 kg of pure body fat, you need to achieve a 9,000 calorie deficit, which is primarily possible through diet and exercise. Then there's the water retained by carbohydrates, which varies from person to person, but it's worth knowing that 26-32% of excess weight is not fat, but water. This is why in the first 2 weeks of Lifetilt programs, a third of the excess weight practically melts off. To put it more clearly, and for simplicity's sake, let's assume Vivien has a 30% excess body water. Vivien started at 78 kg, and to become a stunning woman, she needs to reach 53-55 kg, which means a 25 kg excess for her.

30% of 25 kg excess is 7.5 kg, which is Vivien's excess water, ruthlessly expelled by the diet due to reduced carbohydrate intake and protein-rich nutrition. After expelling body water, the more interesting part of weight loss begins, because from this point on, solid fat needs to be broken down, and this is where the 9,000 calorie per 1 kg loss principle comes in. In Vivien's diet, as I described in her initial post, she is, on average, 681 calories below her caloric needs daily. We are now at day 45, meaning 45 x 681 kcal, which is 30,645 kcal, and this should result in an additional -3.4 kg. In addition to this, there are the calories burned by workouts, which in this case is 500 kcal per run, and she does 3 of these per week. So, 6 weeks of workouts means 18 x 500 = 9,000 kcal, which is another -1 kg, fat burners, MCT oil, the big fat thing, another -1.5 kg. It's not over yet, because due to increased protein intake and workouts, the body's fat-burning processes increase at idle, which means another 1.5 kg loss in 45 days.

The more mentally challenged among you skipped the previous paragraph, so I'll summarize what I wrote above. Releasing body water 7.5 kg + diet 3.4 kg + workouts -1 kg + increased thermogenesis process -1.5 kg + food supplements -1.5 kg. So, if Vivien adheres to everything, she should have lost 14.9 kg by now, instead of the current 8. Even if we factor in the varying metabolism variable from person to person, we should still be talking about a 12-13 kg weight loss, and I'm not playing games with her now, I'm not attacking her with a subjective opinion, but with facts. Vivi says she sticks to the diet and goes for a run 3 times a week, but I wouldn't bet on it. Either Vivien is telling the truth, or the numbers are lying, and numbers and mathematics are quite stable stars in the galaxy of sciences, but there's something else here that, honestly, I'm not even surprised by since Petra. Does anyone still remember these lines from May?

"Petra severely screwed me over, which I had to find out sitting on a bench on Teréz körút 41 days after the program started, introduced with the sentence, 'I'd tell you something now, but if I do, promise you won't get too upset.' After 29 minutes of 'but seriously, don't get mad' faffing around, she finally told me that even though she told me she weighed 64 kilos at the beginning of our program, she was actually 67.2 kg. After I knocked over 2 trash cans, I asked her why that was necessary and how the hell I was supposed to communicate this on the blog, to which she gave a typical female answer. Something like she was ashamed of gaining so much weight and DIDN'T EVEN DARE TO ADMIT IT TO HERSELF, and besides, didn't it matter? At this point, I think I cried..."

Of course, there is a noticeable and significant change in Vivi, which is perfectly visible in the pictures, but if more is possible, why settle for less? Vivien is the closest to me among the slims, but I need to talk to her about the continuation between the holidays…

Vivien

Halfway... Another post, a new photo, and measuring the centimeters. I haven't lost much since the thirty-day post. In the past few days, I've lost 2 kg in total. I'm not discouraged because I know it's normal, but it still makes me feel a little bad. However, if I think about the fact that I can't even remember when I was 70 kilos, then I'm very happy, because I know that from now on, the number on the scale will start with a six...

I'm currently halfway through the program. And so much has changed in my life in just a month and a half. I feel better and better in my own skin. My headaches are completely gone. Fewer guys used to look at me than in the past few days. Or maybe I just didn't want to notice. Before the program started, I had no self-confidence and didn't believe that anyone could like me like this. Now, however, I don't hang my head when I walk on the street; instead, I look up and notice the admiring glances. I confess, it feels really good. I know I still have about 10 kilos of excess weight, but if I look back at the Vivi I see in the first picture, I feel sick. I simply don't understand myself, why I didn't look in the mirror, or simply didn't care how fat I had become. It's really bad. How could I let things get this far?! I don't understand. In the new pictures, I really like that my collarbone is visible again; I had even forgotten it was there. And my waist is starting to form nicely, which wasn't there at all before. My face, my thighs, my back... I see how beautifully I'm shaping up everywhere. That's why I say no to all sorts of temptations. My dad had his birthday recently. Well, there were tons of goodies. Creamy cakes, tarts, scones, and stuffed cabbage awaited me at home. My dad even said, "now this is tough, resisting these!" He's right. Of course, it's hard to say no, but it doesn't even cross my mind to eat a single bite of anything. I see the progress and I know why I'm doing all this. This is always in front of my eyes. What perhaps motivates me the most is being able to wear a two-piece swimsuit in the summer and not have to walk around the beach wrapped in a towel up to my neck. It might sound incredible, but I've never worn a bikini in my life. I'm wearing underwear in the pictures precisely because I don't have a single two-piece swimsuit. When the program ends and I reach my target of 60 kilos, the first thing I'll do is get a beautiful one.

I thought the runs would get better and better. But unfortunately, that's not the case. Every single run is very difficult for me. If I go running with Bence, it's a little easier with him next to me, but if I have to go alone, I'm still slower. And usually I have to go alone because no one comes with me. Everyone always promises, but no one keeps their word. Never mind. That shouldn't concern me, only that I go out and do it. Unfortunately, I can't measure the runs because my phone doesn't have RunKeeper. But if all goes well, Santa will bring me an iPhone, and then I'll be able to measure my runs nicely too. That's why I'm really looking forward to Christmas, but most of all because the family is rarely together, and these are the few days when we do everything together. We have breakfast, lunch, and dinner together, and we mess around a lot. I'm really looking forward to cooking and baking lots of goodies with my mom and brother. I don't really want to eat too many sweets, but I'd like to enjoy dinner without guilt, since it's allowed. My mom already told me to make a list of what I'd like to eat on Christmas Eve. Well, I haven't thought about that yet, but I'll definitely write down fried cheese. I know Christmas is coming, but I will definitely stick to my three runs a week. And I don't want to go overboard and gain 1-2 kilos during the holidays, because it's not worth it to me. I'll be writing the 60-day report on January 4th. The goal by then is 67 kilos.

Oh... I forgot to mention one of the most positive experiences I've had during the program so far. I went into H&M because I really like shopping there. I tried on a size 40 pair of pants and they fit me. I can't even express how happy that makes me. A month and a half ago, I couldn't even button up a size 42 pair...
