DAY 2

The Evolution of Diet

Diet –) really bad –) fat breakdown –) release of toxins –) detoxification –) weight loss –) getting ripped –) muscle building –) girls –) even more girls –) fed up with women's nonsense, can't stand it –) let's go for a beer instead –) oh, this is it, got a cigarette? –) super size, please.

But before we head towards the Liberty Bridge with a can of gasoline, we still have a few things to do.

I slept surprisingly well last night. Maybe my body is starting to realize that it can put on a show, but it still won't get food. Of course, it's something entirely different. The body asks for nourishment for a while, but if it doesn't get it, it slowly starts to take up the energy it needs. And that's exactly what we want.

Because the moment the feeling of hunger disappears in the body without nutrient intake, the first step of the long process of fat breakdown has begun. You know, what goes up must come down; now all the crap we mindlessly consumed until now will come back to haunt us. (If I were a woman, could I write such things with impunity?)

Pizzas, wasabi, chicken, nuggets, grandma's "I made it just for you" pancakes, lots of sweets, and of course, all forms of alcohol that accompanied our weekends, summers, and biggest mistakes. But really anything, because in 2011 in Budapest, we've reached a point where we have to hunt for healthy food. Damn it, there's no rye bread in the Tesco on Fogarasi Road!!!

An example of how we poison ourselves. 78 types of preservatives in a single meal. Don't you really understand how much trouble we're in?

The layer of fat on us stores these toxins in our body tissues, and then during weight loss, they are released into the bloodstream. These cause the malaise, the "I'm not feeling well" states. We urgently need to cleanse ourselves of these. And drinking 4 liters of fluid, CLEAN FLUID, daily will do this. Be prepared that 8-12 daily visits to the toilet are considered completely normal during this period. Let's wait a few more days for the metabolism to speed up.

After waking up, I have incredible muscle soreness due to yesterday's workout. I'm happy about that. I worked hard yesterday, because a workout is only effective if you have muscle soreness the next day. If this doesn't happen, you can consider the workout invalid. It was useless, the muscle didn't develop. Either the exercises were not performed correctly technically, or the weight was too light, but it's also possible that there are problems with the workout plan. After a morning shower and a hearty breakfast combo of cottage cheese, wheat, and tomato, I left home in surprisingly good shape. I felt fresh and fit. I admit, I was already looking forward to the afternoon workout.

The workout, which is strength training, today I'm only training back muscles. Many people usually skip this workout day, simply because the muscle groups we're working on are not visible. And what we don't see... Yet this day provides the correct posture, the deltoid muscle, and the V-shape. Not least, it provides the framework for the workouts that we will build on later. I won't even mention (but I will) the embedding and protection of the spinal muscles. I warmed up on the rowing machine. 2 km with a straight back, keeping RPM above 70 (revolutions per minute). It didn't feel good, after 1 km I kept checking how much was left. Unfortunately, this is the current situation.

At the beginning of the training period, selecting the right weights is not yet ideal. I feel like I've sometimes overcommitted myself. For example, 40 kg for neck pulls feels like too much, but 25 kg for bent-over rows feels too little. Adjust your workouts. Write down on a piece of paper which weight is best for you on each machine. The correct practice is when you can no longer finish the last set because your muscles are sore. If you can complete the entire series, then increase the weight by one unit. No more. There's no need for any injuries.

Towards the end of the workout, I hit my first wall. I was very tired, and there was still one back exercise and three ab exercises left. Overcoming these walls is the most critical aspect of the entire workout. If you survive the first 6-10 days, you'll go all the way. This is when you need to be mentally very strong, because if you give up here, it's over. This is where the "just rule" comes in (preparations post). You have to continue. If not, it's a huge failure. The biggest problem with such failures is that we usually sink deeper than before the whole workout. Not to mention that weeks, even months, can pass before you commit to the next multi-week workout. It's all just psychology.

By the time I finished, I was completely exhausted. But damn, I could barely lift the shaker bottle. I still had the very intense, difficult workout from the first day in me, and today's dose. Not to mention the diet, which weakens me a lot. The amino anabol worked, I can feel it.

I couldn't wait to get home. The evening hunger came again, but I timed the last protein shake so that there would be no problem with sleep, at least not because of hunger. I should wash the dishes tomorrow, things are getting serious.

Vancouver, Colorado, and Pittsburgh all won. God bless Jordan Staal for his goal in the third period, which will get me 53,611 forints tomorrow at Oktogon. I'm going to like this guy.

Tomorrow, hello, Margaret Island circuit.
