Day 38

More good news for the Hungarian state and the budget committee, as the budget balance continues to improve. Linda Zimány has moved to Eindhoven to be with Balázs Dzsudzsák, which hopefully means she won't be collecting unemployment benefits for a while. Well, you know, there are few relationships as beautiful and disinterested as theirs, not based on money, so let's congratulate them. One question before we move on. How long can one make a living from prostitution at the highest levels?

My preparation week after the power outage continues, and it's time for my B-day workout, which is back day. I feel about 70-75% back to normal, and my strength is steadily returning. I'm still doing my conditioning workouts with reduced weights, or at least that was the plan until I started the workout. I wanted to do the exercises at least 2 degrees higher than my pre-flu level, but then in the first set, I felt that I had much, much more strength than I had initially thought. This is a typical case where I have to consciously control myself mentally, because I still can't overload myself haphazardly, because if not anytime, I can easily relapse. Here's how my workout looked following the before-and-after concept.

Since this is a special week, I'm doing my workouts at a more moderate pace, and since I'm skipping cardio workouts entirely, I can schedule my conditioning workouts more freely, allowing for more rest time between workout days. This is how my workouts are structured during my preparation week; I forgot to write about it. 1 week still counts as 8 days.

However, there's something else here: I'm getting damn sick of diet foods. There's an excellent remedy for this: just ignore it, it is what it is, you have to do it. If I'm counting correctly and nothing intervenes, I still have 36 days. Or, to be more precise, I'm not sick of diet foods as much as I'm sick of having to check what I can eat when, and I have to admit, I crave a pizza or a poppy seed strudel more than anything else. So what? I also incredibly crave an Audi A5, but that doesn't get me any further. Especially since yesterday there was a small social gathering at a friend's pastry shop, which means we were surrounded by immense amounts of marzipan, and every imaginable cake and pastry slice. If I'm counting correctly, I've been on a diet for 51 days with minimal deviations due to the flu and my teeth. Now, we spent several hours in a pastry shop with unlimited consumption options. These are the situations you have to survive; it went smoothly for me, but I'm not saying I didn't look at an Esterházy slice with loving glances. With quitting smoking, the first party, the first poker game, the first cigarette not smoked after sex was the hardest. Not to mention cigarettes after meals, stressful situations, and drinking beer with friends. If you come out victorious from such situations, it should give you such a boost and strength that you can no longer fail at the everyday little waverings. Of course, this also applies to food, like my pastry shop outing.

But so that I'm not the only one suffering, here's a video. The team is huge; personally, my favorite is the kid in the red polo shirt with the Reebok top, but everyone's face and the music are also humiliating. This was playing while I was writing the post, and of course, Eve's "What should I wear tonight" show.
