The Brad Pitt Factor

I am Dad's clenched fist...
In Hollywood, the capital of silicone and plastic surgery, nothing is as it seems. Smiles are fake, and anything without a catchy name or Benjamin Franklin on it is considered worthless. In California, perhaps outside of Las Vegas, the number of prostitutes per square meter is the highest, although this is a bold statement because we don't even know what it means to be a true hussy until we've walked through the universities and colleges of Budapest. Hollywood is a wonderful place because if you're a producer, 200 fully-fledged girls knock on your door begging to give you a blowjob for a 3-second cameo. I think this describes the moral conditions on the West Coast of the USA.
However, this city also has another face. A face that is why Los Angeles is not yet mentioned in the same breath as San Francisco, the number one city of filth and decadence. A face where real achievements and results are born, where appreciation is still sincere, and where there is real work behind it, and not a silicone-filled, neurotoxin-injected face smiling back at us, but the appreciative face of the viewer, for which it is worth preparing, making sacrifices, and dying. An appreciative nod, a supportive email, a like on Facebook. Because that's what we do it for, that's why we're here. That's why we write blogs, that's why music and films are born, and this little recognition keeps this whole shit called life spinning.
Because most of the time, when we encounter something truly awesome, or achieve an outstanding result, or witness an above-average performance, there is often an inhuman amount of work behind it. Film history is full of films where the actor undergoes such radical changes for a role that it sometimes borders on insanity. Just think of Christian Bale's 28-kilo weight loss for the movie The Machinist, or De Niro's 30-kilo weight gain for Raging Bull. Bale's extreme weight change is even more brutal if we consider that a year and a half after The Machinist, he regained his normal weight and packed on 7 kilos of pure muscle, this time for the filming of Batman Begins.

Everything is just a matter of motivation and determination, because since we were 10 years old, we've known, and especially the girls know, that there's that much money... No matter what we talk about in life, achieving goals, fulfilling dreams, creating a livelihood, there will always be an amount where our principles give in. For a 5-10 million dollar paycheck, a person is capable of a lot, but even all the motivation in the world is not enough if it's not accompanied by perseverance and training that sometimes lasts until you faint. Let's face it, not everyone can handle this mentally, and in fact, most people can't complete a single diet properly precisely because they are simply not capable of it as human beings. Their character and will are weak, impressionable, and unstable to the extreme. This type of person is the worst. You can easily recognize them by their pathetic mantras. I could quit smoking anytime, but I don't want to. But I like this the best.
I feel good in my skin, I don't want to lose weight. My partner likes me the way I am.
Aha, sure, sweetheart. Just don't look into your "partner's" phone too much, because you'd find interesting things, and you'd rather not know why they close their eyes during sex, if they even bother to get on top of you anymore. Everyone lies to themselves about a happy life however they can, but sooner or later there will be huge face-plants. Something for something, right? I'll show a few examples of those who didn't make excuses, and got results.

I am Dad's icy sweat...
Brad Pitt is perhaps the most spectacular and brightest star in this regard. I am convinced that such a person is born once every 50 years. This man exudes incredible style, and if that is coupled with acting talent, charismatic appearance + he possesses the mental factor I mentioned, then truly incredible results and visuals can be achieved. Troy, and the greatest classic film, Fight Club, in which Pitt delivered an astonishing performance both in acting and, what's more important for the blog now, in his physical appearance. Let's peek behind the scenes, where the cameras don't reach, and see what kind of training it took for Pitt to look the way he did in these films.
Troy
One year of preparation, including 9 months of pure training, 8 months of dieting, 3 and a half months of very strict dieting, and 2 weeks of 800-calorie death per day until the shirtless scenes were filmed. The butt just wouldn't come together, so a body double had to be used in the film. There was an interesting clause in the contract, namely that Brad was unwilling to give up his McDonald's Smarties McFlurry, so he asked for his program to be adjusted so that he would eat one every two weeks. Since a whole team of professional experts worked for him, it is almost impossible to achieve this result with a normal lifestyle, especially because our Brad was also helped by steroids, but one can try his approach.

Something else. There will be a separate post about fake articles and totally fake workout plans. As an example, here are the articles from Blikk and ideal.hu. I understand that Blikk has to be filled with 25 pages of solid vomit every day, but it really shouldn't be so brazenly stupid about everything. So in the future, if you come across any celebrity workout plan or any diet, take it with a grain of salt, and check it out, or look it up here, maybe I've already written about it. I personally guarantee the authenticity of the posts and workout plans here. Among other things, because I prepare for and research every post, finding the most credible sources. This blog, and generally anything in life, will only remain relevant as long as it maintains its credibility. The moment it turns out that what I wrote is unfounded, unprofessional, and utter bullshit, then there will be no reason to continue reading this blog. In a field where results and progress are so visibly measurable, there is no room for workout plans based on lies, and diets not based on calories and body type. It's no accident that I wrote about the irresponsible articles in women's magazines, and the deceptive, fake world of weight loss products promoted by infomercials and quacks. But more on that later.
I am Dad's gnawing jealousy...
Let's not delude ourselves, such results cannot be achieved by eating 30 decagrams of chicken breast fillet a day. Anabolic cycles can produce good results, and with steroids, anything is possible. However, I would warn everyone against taking various chemically composed bullshit. There are a lot of fakes on the market, but if you do decide to take some kind of stimulating substance, it should be anabolic agents at most, really at most. During his preparation, in addition to diet and training, Pitt also underwent a 16-week steroid cycle.

Diet is the only thing that is the least variable when it comes to muscle shaping. In other words, there are basic foods, beyond which you can't really reinvent the wheel. Lean meats, chicken and turkey breast fillet, low-fat cottage cheese, eggs, vegetables, bananas, oatmeal, complete sugar deprivation, and avoiding sugary drinks. In this case, Brad drank two types of protein, in the form of whey and casein, in addition to taking vitamins and other trace elements, and fatty acids, of course. For intense workouts and especially heavy muscle-building workouts, to ensure the body's energy reserves, it is essential, even mandatory, to eat pasta and operate with high-energy protein bars before workouts.

The training. No one who has recently started weight training should really force this training plan. Not even those who have been doing it for 1-2 years. Such a high number of sets, with such difficult combined exercises, requires some experience. I'm not afraid that there won't be a few self-proclaimed assholes who will jump into this workout. Of course, those who are stupid should just do it, but then don't be surprised if they can't shift into third gear in their homemade souped-up Lada, because their muscles are torn and their joints are ruined. I'll say it again. Every single movement of Pitt was monitored by experts. Every workout was accompanied, their technique was observed, and the exercises were performed correctly. Their steroid cycles were put together by doctors, and their health status was checked weekly to see if their body was responding properly. To all the idiots who are thinking about getting the steroids they read about here, injecting them into themselves, doing what's in the workout plan below, and looking like Pitt in Troy by summer, well, I would tell them that it won't work, and in the best case, you'll just have to have your liver removed. Because this steroid cycle is tailored to Pitt's physique, metabolism, almost to his cells. Oh, and cardio workouts in any amount for at least 25 minutes. But preferably longer.

I am Dad's seething bile...
Fight Club
I hope no one needs an introduction to this movie; if they do, they should really go to hell. The film is a reference point and one of the best social criticisms, the most brilliant funhouse mirror held up to consumer society. One could quote great lines from the film for hours, lines that perhaps even the segment of society the film most rejects and yet addresses pondered. The segment that takes out a Provident loan for a 23,000 forint microwave oven.
I selected from the catalog the dinner set that best suited my personality.
It's shocking that nowadays there's no chance for films like this, or even similar ones, to appear. Is there a connection between the emergence of the internet and the catastrophic decline of film and music, and the mass appearance of worthless productions? There's no independent film on the level of Pulp Fiction anywhere, but there's Avatar, and what's happening in the music world, it's better not to think about it, because as long as Justin Bieber and the other little jerks can be a factor, this world is simply ripe for cremation, and for people to piss on its ashes.
In this film, Pitt reduced his body fat percentage to 4.5-5%. This is so insane and required such hard training and persistent dieting that you can't even imagine. Below 6% is already unhealthy, as this is the minimum fat percentage the body needs to maintain normal hormonal balance. The diet is roughly similar to what was read in Troy, with the difference that for this film, he almost completely eliminated carbohydrates. No pasta, and in the last weeks of preparation, whole wheat bread and oatmeal were also forbidden. 5 meals a day, and the emphasis was naturally on protein-rich and fiber-rich nutrition. That's all about the food.
I am Dad's lonely heart...
Since there was no need to build extra muscles here, "only" to get extremely lean, the steroid and anabolic cycles were also different. I couldn't find exact information, but I did find that the cycle was based on Oxandrolone and Acaid.

Obviously, these are not the full workouts; these are the ones that leaked out of the studios, or perhaps the trainers decided to share this much with the public. The preparation was much more complex than this. Medicine ball training, scientifically developed stress endurance tasks for elite athletes, agility and action fitness programs, training methods we may not have even heard of. I haven't written about it, but we can't ignore the regeneration processes. Muscle recovery happens through various massages, stretches, saunas, different therapies, water jets, and I don't know what else, and the regeneration of the body and its cells and muscles is ensured by supplementing vitamins, minerals, and trace elements.

These people we are talking about differ from us, ordinary people (it's hard to write this) in that they dared to dream big, they had the strength and perseverance to get where they are now. These are not accidents, because it's one thing to be born in the right country to achieve truly serious success, Kolin, HS7, Ákos, and countless talented Hungarian kids know this well, whose talent and artistic value were completely ignored abroad. Simply because our language can tell them to go to hell 30 times more diversely than the word "fuck."
But what about us? Television convinced us that one day we would be millionaires, movie stars, and rock stars. But we won't be, and we're slowly realizing this, and getting very, very angry. Some start drinking, and some escape into food. Some cheat on their wives with a worthless little whore just to feel like a man, and some escape into crime. There will be those who lie so skillfully to themselves about a happy life that they won't even notice that at the end of their insignificant life, no one will miss them, while others escape into religion, work, a non-existent relationship. I escaped into training, into this blog, and into the lifestyle that comes with it. Whether I made the right decision, time will tell, but that's not the point.

Pitt, Bale, the cast of 300, the little faggots from Twilight, and all those characters whom teenagers would kneel before weeping – well, however real they may seem, and however much work is behind them, they don't actually exist. For minutes, perhaps days, they truly look this way, but in the long run, such results are unsustainable, because what we see is beautiful and good, but it's merely an illusion. I started the series about actors' preparations for one reason only: to show you how much they achieve almost solely because they belong to that 3% who are obscenely good-looking. And this is far more than just external appearance, well-formed muscles, and a charming profile. It's much, much more than that. It's a lifestyle, mental strength, posture, character-building performance, and self-conquest that produce this physique – that's what I'm talking about. This is what elevates the people I'm writing about, and whom you sometimes admire in everyday life, to where they are. These opportunities are also within you, and all it takes is determination, perseverance, and moving forward. Don't give a damn about anything, don't let them pull you back, laugh in the face of pain and fatigue, push aside those who only hinder you in life, because that's the only way to achieve anything, and never, ever give up.
I am Dad's screwed-up life...
It's not enough to read this blog. In fact, if after reading the fifth post, the thought "I really should go and work out already, for crying out loud" doesn't even cross your mind, then there are serious problems. Because it's not enough to desire a good physique and dream of all the benefits a well-sculpted body can give you. It takes determination and action. Everything else is just a pathetic excuse and a miserable struggle in a pathetic little body. You can look for role models and always admire someone, but just because you like the root you idolize on Facebook, it doesn't mean you'll become one with them, and you won't be on their level by a long shot. But what if, just once in your life, you were someone's role model?
