List of developments

Change is an inherent part of development, and we must accept this. We can fight against it, as I also did, reminiscing romantically about the good old days. But what is past is past, and we must accept this to move forward.

If nothing around us changes, we don't develop either. If we live the same life as 8 years ago, we haven't progressed anywhere.

LifeTILT is developing. Continuously and at a frantic pace. 4 years ago, it didn't even exist, and now we can speak of a group of companies with 17 employees. This rate of expansion demanded development from me as well. Circumstances forced me to rise to the challenge. And with such a degree of development come fundamental changes. The themes will be different, the thoughts will be different, and connections will gain meaning. LifeTILT is a lifestyle change site, a blog, if you prefer, which still drives the system, it remains its soul.

In the beginning, I set an example that it is indeed possible to transition normally and healthily towards a higher quality life. You can find all the tools for this on the site: diets, workout plans, motivational posts, dozens of personal transformations, supplements, and now even food delivery.

That's what the last 3 years were about, and these 3 years brought something entirely different. The realization that you can be free, you can achieve your dreams, you can lay the foundation for your whole life, all by yourself, simply by listening to your heart, believing in yourself, and working for it. The strength for this came from my lifestyle change, the importance of which I will always emphasize, and you should also keep it in mind, because you won't be able to achieve anything if your mind is not in order, and the frustrations caused by your body constantly distract you. Doubts, lack of self-confidence, the mentality of "you can't do this," and I could go on. I have dealt with these by now; life is now presenting me with new challenges. In the future, LifeTILT may be about what I can build and achieve on the foundations that lifestyle change has provided, thereby setting an example for teenagers and young adults that anything can be achieved from nothing.

In 2010, I was still working at Vodafone and earning 140,000 forints, half of which went to utilities and the rest to food. And what now? In one day, I earn more than I did in a whole month back then. I didn't write this to boast, but to show you that hard work always pays off. If you believe in yourself and represent something true, you can achieve anything. I'm not saying I've achieved everything; far from it. I'm still nowhere. But the experiences of the past years and my journey so far can be of some help to those who are just starting out in life, or who, after many years, believe they can finally realize themselves and their dreams.

There's a saying: what you can't achieve with money, you can achieve with more money. This is true, but money is only the tool, which somehow needs to be created, and that won't happen if you don't acquire the intangible qualities necessary for it.

This post will be about the intangible feelings necessary for your self-realization, which you must live by to achieve your goals. If you already feel and live by them, you are on the right track. If not, strive to live and feel that way. Lifestyle change is just the beginning; everything else comes after.

Dramatic relationships

In our teens and early twenties, we experience everything dramatically, be it a relationship, a friendship, or the radical transformation of our relationship with our parents. Dramatic relationships characterize our rebellious youth; at this age, we are still unable to see connections and achieve great things, because life at this point is about emotion for us, not rationality. As the years pass, we continuously develop and mature, the world becomes clearer and free of superficiality. When we are young, everything is about outward appearance, clothes, where we go to parties, whom we know; people's opinions matter, what others think of us. As the years pass, relationships are no longer as dramatic as they used to be; you no longer talk back to every little thing, you don't argue with people who aren't worth it, because you know you're just wasting your energy, energy that is needed for your own development, not for convincing someone who has achieved nothing compared to you.

The key is the development of your communication. If you notice that your relationships with people around you are still dramatic, then you have fundamental communication problems, and this is a very serious issue, as effective communication is one of the cornerstones of success in daily life.

Support and asking for help

I only realized this a few months ago. I admitted that I couldn't handle everything myself. This is a very difficult step, because you build something, and you have to hand over a part of it to someone else. At this point, you will feel that they want to take away your great life's work, which contains all your emotions, time, energy, and money; you will feel as if they are taking away your child whom you raised.

You know how to do this, and no one else can manage it as wonderfully as you can. But after a certain point, you can't hold everything in your hands, because you'll tear yourself apart and burn out very badly. If your dreams come true and, due to development, that certain life's work becomes too big, then you have to delegate subtasks to others. You can't keep everything in your hands, and you have to accept this.

Asking for help is not a sign of weakness. You cannot be successful alone.

Expectations of yourself

You will only achieve as much as you believe you are worth. You cannot be content with petty, insignificant successes, such as losing 10 kilos, earning 12,000 forints more than your girlfriend, having a bigger TV than your friend, or perhaps a better car than your neighbor. Everything is relative, and expectations of yourself are especially so. You lost 10 kilos, but still have 15 to go, so is that success, or have you just climbed from under a frog's ass to a frog's ass?

You earn more than your girlfriend, but if she takes home 90 gross, then where are you with 102 thousand? Do you feel successful that you can pay the bills, but is that really all there is to life? Vegetating is not living, it's just the minimum required for survival. Don't measure your life against a homeless person walking among cars, and don't look at how many people are worse off than you. You will always find enough trash to justify to yourself that you are more successful than someone who has truly achieved nothing. Many people make the mistake of relativizing their lives.

Measure your life against those who are more successful than you, who have achieved more in almost every area of life, and who live a higher quality life than you. Only this will inspire you, this MUST inspire you. Of course, many people are unable to face this and simply run away.

Let it go

Don't bother with people who don't make you happy, whose presence doesn't help you develop, from whom you gain nothing extra, and who only hold you back. Don't stay in failed relationships just because you're already engaged, or because you've been together for 7 years and moving is too much hassle. Let go of your childhood friends if necessary, because while everything might have been fine in the past, years pass and everyone changes, some unfortunately for the worse. And last but not least, cut ties with anyone who is an energy vampire. After a while, you'll recognize them before you even get involved. This kind of ability is also a sign that you are on the path of successful people.

Let go of everything that constantly poisons your life. If it's your job, then quit and move on. Many people are afraid of this step and cling to their jobs tooth and nail, but how can I write it so you understand? Stepping out of somewhere, into the unknown, is undoubtedly frightening, but if you don't see a way out, if you don't dare to change, if you don't see what you're truly capable of, then you've lived such a small-minded, petty life up to now that these feelings are still within you. You can constantly test what you're capable of, you have the opportunity, but most people don't do it because they don't want to face reality.

It's also possible that you're not meant for anything great, and an average life is written for you. Yes, it's possible. But at least push your limits a little to see if that's really the case.

Look in the mirror

If you still haven't found the person who can change your whole life, then look in the mirror.

Look in the mirror and see yourself. See yourself as you see other people in everyday life. You can only see your strengths if you also see your flaws. If you ignore your weaknesses, then your strengths don't exist either; you just created them, which, in all likelihood, no one else knows but you. These are compensatory values that don't actually exist. You see everything in the mirror. If you see someone you wouldn't want to have a coffee with, then there are serious problems.

Failures are inherent to development

Failures are life's greatest gifts. Successful people have failed a thousand times, and lost everything just as many times. The bone is strongest where it was broken, so you too will become stronger where you experienced the greatest failure. Anyone who lacks resilience to failure will never achieve anything. And most importantly, don't want anything that is free; don't want anything you don't have to fight for.

People around you

If you can already recognize the people who truly stand by you, those you trust, and also those who only pretend to, then you are on the right track. Recognizing betrayal, when someone only wants to exploit you, is a clear manifestation of your development. If, despite this, you experience disappointment, analyze the person who deceived you thoroughly. Their gestures, actions, what they said and how they said it. These are typical signs that, if you encounter them later, you will already know who you are dealing with, regardless of what they portray themselves to be.

In our youth, this is precisely why we experience so much pain and disappointment, because we haven't yet learned to recognize these types. The years bring experience, but for this, you need to know that this type of person is like this. Women tend to disregard this and, if necessary, give a fifth chance to the same kind of jerk who has already deceived them four times before. But women are like that; they always believe and believe again, I think they even need someone to screw them over from time to time. Everyone gets one chance, and that's it. No more; faith is a beautiful thing, but there's no rationality in it.

Don't complain

The main characteristic of energy vampires is that they constantly complain, and negativity emanates from them. If you have a problem, solve it. Don't dwell on what's wrong, but on how you can solve it. Failed people constantly complain and blame someone for why things didn't work out, who is at fault, why things turned out the way they did. No one is at fault. Let the era of illusions, where you blame some higher power or force, end once and for all. You are responsible for everything.

Don't be envious

Envy is nothing more than the awareness that someone is better than you. Never be envious. Be happy for others' successes, and put all your effort into making those people envious of you, whom you will then naturally ignore with ample returns. Once you achieve something, you will no longer be envious. Once you achieve something, you will clearly see how pathetic and despicable envy is. Envy is a characteristic of weak people.

Have a passion

Whatever you start, do it solely with passion, or not at all. Great things are built only with passion and belief, pursued with a sense of mission until realized. The world is not actually built by engineers and workers, but by passion. Know what you can contribute to the cycle called life, what you can add. If passion is coupled with talent, the news will be about you, and the media will be full of you.

Goals

Never give up. It's as simple as I wrote it. I can't add anything more to that.

Empathy

You must love and understand people's emotions to be able to help them. Selfless help will give you the most strength, because by helping someone, you can save lives, and they will be grateful to you for it. You will see that your work has meaning. And positive feedback will give you new energy, and the cycle will be complete.

Don't be a victim

Don't be the one everyone pours their sorrows out to, because it's a pretty crappy feeling when you realize you're just an emotional trash can. You don't always have to put up with it, you don't have to adapt, you don't have to live a life where you swallow your pride and just do it to avoid trouble. Flip the table over, damn it, and don't let yourself be exploited. Anyone who exploits you won't see how nice you are, but how much of a fool.

People about you

You don't have to compromise, you don't have to accept the system, you don't have to adapt to rules you disagree with. Screw what people think, that's the point. Don't care what anyone says or thinks about your goals and your path to them. There will always be doubters, adversaries who question the reality and correctness of your dreams. Yes, there will be such people, but it's never what they say that matters, but who says it, and what kind of life that person has led, what they have achieved. Behind a successful person is the sum of thoughts and experiences that enabled them to be successful.

Perspective

Life is exactly what you want to see it as, or, more typically, exactly the kind of person you are.

If you see the world as bad, bitter, and negative, you yourself are bad, bitterness, and negativity. If I wish, I see the world as ripe for destruction, because it is full of trashy, aimless, unmotivated, untalented, easily manipulated, helpless, weak idiots. But if I wish, this world is a wide treasure trove of opportunities, full of emotion, true human feelings, wonderful talents, creative thoughts, paths to follow, and a broad spectrum of intellectual grandeur.

Everything is just a matter of perspective, and it's up to you how you see this world and what you do with it. You have 80 years, hopefully. The rest, we'll see.
