A Lifetilt-generáció

The Lifetilt Generation

"The day will soon come when we step beyond the confines of the internet, and the whole country will get to know our movement. Prepare yourselves, because the community that will change everything is now being formed. Now is the time for our generation to take center stage. Now it's our turn."

Hungarian history is the primary proof that history is not written by political parties, nor by ideologies, but by great generations. In the history of every nation, we can find numerous examples of a generation appearing in a significant historical era, and that certain generation suddenly becoming more than just individuals, taking shape in movements. A generation in which the realization that change is needed has matured. Then comes a group of people who don't know each other, but a common cause and their belief in the future forge them together.

A generation becomes a true generation when we realize that something connects us. That we have a mission, that the world we live in, the nation we belong to, has given us a task that we must fulfill.

The opportunity is here. Our realization that change is needed has also happened. However, successfully carrying out the mission of cafeteria reform and taking on the difficulties that come with it is now up to us.

At the same time, changing an existing system, even if it is malfunctioning, is one of the most difficult tasks, especially in Hungary. In this country, self-care is an unknown concept, because most people always expect their lives to improve from a higher power. Always relying on someone, blaming someone else, and creating dark shadows by demonizing evil people who can be blamed, saying, yes, it's them. My life is bad because of them. If they weren't here, everything would be different.

Outdated ideas, the tragedy of habit, and fear of novelty are one of the strongest powers in Hungary. If something new, innovative, or progressive initiative emerges, the system automatically shuts down and rejects it, no matter how well-intentioned that initiative may be. Resignation to our fate, complaining all day long, endless negativity, that certain bad luck that has plagued us for a long time. This is what characterizes us. Cynicism has never been as strong in Hungary as it is today. In their bitterness, people pour out hatred and dispute every merit from those who, beyond great self-pity and melancholy, are willing to do something for themselves and for their future. Malice and harm. This is where we have arrived, this is our true misfortune.

We must achieve something superhuman in such an environment, so do not be fooled that not everyone around you will agree with us. There will be some, and not a small number, who will wave us off and acknowledge our efforts with a cynical, disparaging smile. The petty, weak characters, incapable of embracing lofty ideals, will mock us, saying that we will fail anyway, and what do we want? Politics will decide over us anyway, and we are small fish to be able to change anything.

There will be such voices, but these voices are not the voices of life. These manifestations do not serve the future; negativity has never built anything.

You must believe in what you represent, you must believe in yourselves, you must believe that our generation can become a true generation, because we do have the strength to achieve this. We have the strength and the ability to keep going even if we run into hundreds of walls. Because there will be such walls.

Over the past 3 years, a large and strong community has been built on LifeTILT. Thanks to the beneficial effects of lifestyle change and sports, you who are reading these lines already know what you are capable of. You already know that everything is just a matter of determination. You who are reading these lines, who have been strengthened by LifeTILT in the past few years, know exactly what I am talking about. Before your eyes, TILT grew from a blog that anyone could register for into a community of tens of thousands, which has empowered thousands and tens of thousands and helped them change their lives. I came from nothing, I started from scratch. I believed that I would create something great, and TILT rose.

This process was not easy for me either. Thousands of obstacles and hundreds of stumbling blocks crossed my path. The more I achieved, the higher I set my sights, the stronger the attacks against me became, and the louder the insults showered upon me. When I spoke about my plans, they just laughed at me, and then when they saw that despite all this I was achieving success, they wanted to break me, they wanted to make it impossible for me. But I continued to believe in something, I represented a way of thinking that was different from the usual, I wanted to create something new, that was all that was in front of my eyes. The more slaps I received, the less I felt them. The louder they screamed in my ear that it wouldn't succeed, the less I heard them. The hands that wanted to pull me back no longer reached me over time, they wouldn't even have had a chance to grab me.

Every single slap only strengthened me further, and after a while, I even sought them out. I sought out the slaps, because nothing gives as much strength as getting up from the ground. You cannot be reborn unless you have died before. You will never have anything else on your way but your faith, primarily in yourself. If you lose this, if you waver and stray from your path, it's only a matter of time before the hyenas and vultures waiting for your downfall tear you apart. If you lose your faith, you are finished. My personal example and the rise of LifeTILT should be the living example of the power of the underlying meaning of my words.

Every parent's dream is for their child not only to achieve more but also to be better than they themselves were. Our dream is for our parents to be proud of us, to become useful members of our society.

The opportunity is here. The opportunity for us to transition from a generation to a true generation is within reach. The only question now is what great, common goals will make us a great generation, the custodians of the future generation.
