A NEGYEDIK HÉT ÖSSZEGZÉSE

SUMMARY OF WEEK FOUR

The alteRnative7

90.959 km run, 16 weight training sessions – 10.15 kg in 36 days

I deviated from the original training plan this week, thought I'd push my limits a bit. To quote András Lovasi, this week turned into a self-serving, alternative wankfest.

29.220 km run in 3 hours 1 minute 36 seconds, 4 gym workouts, highlighting the 2 toughest days. My body couldn't handle this load anymore, and if it had a key, it handed it over. Vitamins aside, supplements, healthy food aside, my body weakened, I caught the flu, and now it looks like I'm getting sick. I don't have a fever yet, but I do have a mild fever, I feel weak, my throat hurts and my nose is blocked, meaning "I'd say it now, but I can't, I could, yet I don't curse." Anyone who knows where this quote is from, I'll train them for free, no joke. Provided it's a girl.

I have no idea what to do in this situation. I'll talk to Tomi, and then I need to read up on what to do in the middle of a training plan like this. I don't get it. Nor do I understand what kind of load I can put on myself once I feel better, because even though I'm physically very strong, the flu can do wonders to the body in a negative sense. Let's say I don't recover so quickly, and I have to suspend the 66 days for up to a week. Will this still count as a full workout then? How much will the weekly summary pictures and the changes in my musculature be worth after that? Where do I fit in a 5, 7, or 10 km run after this? Where would I be if I didn't get sick, and what should I do with my diet during an illness anyway? Do I really have to go to hell now? These are the questions in my mind, for which I will get answers by tomorrow at the latest. This is how blog post topics are born. Life writes it, I just put it on the blog. What to do if you get sick…

In the meantime, let's go back to week four, because it was instructive. I hope everyone will learn from my mistake and not show off with their training load like I did, because it can ruin all their previous work. What a joke, a pandemic comes, and I catch it immediately. Seriously pathetic. So, 86.15 kg, which means I've crossed the 10 kg weight loss threshold. That's how much I planned to lose, and from now on, the phase called "second stage" begins. We've scraped off the excess, what's left is still useful as energy reserves, and I can start training for aesthetics. From now on, I will only train for the mirror, meaning to build muscle. The significance of how many kilograms I am will disappear, because that no longer matters, but rather the development of quality musculature and physique. We don't train for the scales, but for appearance, I'll write this down a few more times, don't worry.

I examined my picture a bit, highlighting in red what I'm not satisfied with. My abs are pathetically critical, I should do something about that, and I still have a "love handle" even though the delta shape is starting to emerge. So much for analysis and planning, because I don't know when I'll be able to train again, and even if I can, when I'll be in a state where I can meaningfully improve. You can start again 3-4 days after the last fever-free day, but even then, only carefully. I reckon this will be a minimum of 4-6 days out. It's not worth rushing back (apart from the health risks), because if you relapse, then it's really over. The program cannot handle a 2-3 week layoff.

Important. Stick to the diet under all circumstances!!! Even now. No slipping up, no "now I can eat." Maybe this whole thing will even be good, this is when you can really get shredded. One thing is for sure: I'll be on the next bus too, just let there be sound and liiiiiight…
