A Zyzz Project

The Zyzz Project

We need role models, if only for reference points. We need these people to know where we are, where we're going, and where those certain points are that we can reach, or that others have reached before us, and perhaps one day we can get there too. When I was very young, my father was the one I looked up to, then a little later, playing soccer in our yard, I imagined myself as Zidane, Totti, and Beckham, while kicking around my grandmother's flower bed and her favorite peach tree in the corner. During high school, Nietzsche, Kant, and Schopenhauer became my gods plastered on the walls of my virtual room, then came poker and Tom "durrr" Dwan, while in the present, Charlie Sheen became my role model. The point is, no matter what I started over the years or where life led me, there was always someone I respected, looked up to, whose achievements I wanted to reach or whose thoughts I wanted to convey properly. In our childhood, we want to be heroes, a few years later, we want to be role models, not taxi drivers or public transport inspectors; we shouldn't be putting posters on the wall, but rather be on them ourselves. We must become role models and show the way, and in good cases, we strive for this our whole lives...

When I entered this whole bodybuilding lifestyle world, it would have been natural to fall off my chair looking for a role model like Jay Cutler or Dorian Yates and plaster my Facebook wall with them just because I lifted a few kilos, started working out, and had room to grow. But honestly, while I acknowledge the achievements and work of these athletes, I couldn't care less about the Arnold Classic, and especially this Larissa Reis type of female gladiator line. To me, classic bodybuilding is not aesthetic, and this female fitness nonsense makes me want to throw up. Every one of my posts affects me because in the 2-3 hours I spend writing them, everything else falls away, and I focus only on this. The Shreddedshian legend post fundamentally changed my way of thinking and brought back the kind of motivation I had admittedly lost months ago. Aziz "Zyzz" Shreddedshian's life and legacy are, as they are, worthy of immense respect, and it is our duty to carry on this value-based legacy. That's why, in honor of Zyzz, I decided to embark on a 150-day program, the foundations of which will be Zyzz's system. 150 days, 6 workouts a week, and a strictly adhered-to diet for 5 months, for a body like Zyzz's.

Opinions are divided on whether Zyzz used steroids or not, but I say he didn't, and with this program, I will prove that incredible results can be achieved without steroid messing around. So, it will be fast and slow-digesting protein, BCAA, Glutamine, fat burner, creatine, and of course, vitamins. I will take only these for 150 days, nothing else. Since I will be taking creatine, there will be a separate post about it, just to dispel a lot of thick fog in many people's minds. A more detailed description of exactly what and how much I take during the program will be written in the next Zyzz project summary post.

                                                               Diet

I will follow this diet for about 40-50 days until I clean up and shred a bit, then I will switch to a more bulking routine. Obviously, a 5-month program, especially if it's about muscle building, cannot be completed with just one diet and workout plan, so this is just the starting point; as I make changes, I will post those too.

                                                          Workout Plan

I will do this workout plan for 8 weeks, then switch to new exercises with different intensity. After 2 months, it's good to change a workout plan before the muscles get used to the exercises and the load. This is also the problem with aerobics, which is why it will never be effective because the body gets used to the movement, but more on that another time...

This 150 days will be strenuous and damn long. I'm not making any promises, I'm just doing it, I guess there's no other way. Currently, I look like this, I'm 89 kg, but weight doesn't matter because now it's about training for the mirror, nothing else counts. So this is my day 0, we start from here. I wish myself good luck... The party starts with a whistle. Drinking, getting drunk, you can vomit by the fence, but please don't shit there...
