Mothers' LifeTilt Program Part 1: Examples to Follow
Why is it that some women who have given birth a few months ago and are pushing strollers look like a swamp turtle with overgrown hair? The answer is simple. They think they can. They think that childbirth and the baby exempt them, that the child is a shield they can hold in front of them as they march forward on society's highway, and if someone, and I add with full right, dares to mention to them, "that vomit stain on your overalls has been there for 3 days, it's really cute, but if you could start doing something about yourself because they'll call the public health authorities on us," then there's a big uproar, that you dark peasant, how can you say such a thing, I gave birth 8 months ago... You understand, 8 months ago... It's very easy to stay in this "I'm allowed to look like this now" state, and hide behind child-rearing for years, but then don't be surprised if the husband eventually seeks satisfaction elsewhere, no matter how great the love, because there are times when, from a man's perspective, a skirt on the devil, in the long run, is more appealing than sweatpants on the beloved angel. A basic self-respect, especially if you are women, must be present under all circumstances, and its neglect cannot be explained by anything, not even a child, especially not months after childbirth. You are primarily women, mothers and wives, and not a tank that absorbs all the child's filth. Men are also parents, they also raise, get up, feed, care, but this does not exempt them from going to work. Everyone must fulfill the duties appropriate to their gender, the only difference is that it will be harder with a child...
I'll translate it into women's language too, so they understand. Imagine a man who was very cool at the beginning of the relationship, but then after he got you, he started to not care about life and no longer had a job. After you gave birth to the child, the guy doesn't even have a spark of willingness to look for a job to support you. At least you would see that he wants to do something with himself, that he would take on anything just to help the child and you, but no, because he doesn't care, he's not interested in fulfilling his basic duty, because he already has you, he doesn't exert himself, after all, there's the child, you won't cheat on him anyway because you couldn't in this state, and he simply doesn't care about the rest. Well, men feel something similar when they are with a woman who messes up the circumstances and forgets to remain a woman, because there's the child, which overrides everything for them. Yes, it can override everything, but it's not certain that the relationship will be able to handle it, because for me, as a man, it would really piss me off if I came home every day to find my mother in the aforementioned state, and I would even have to sleep with her. Of course, many people reading these lines recognize themselves, and instead of preparing for change within themselves, they are already really pissed off at me, asking what a little jerk I am, and what I can know about this, and on what basis, and anyway, I should just lie down under a train and shut my mouth. Very good, and now put this angry energy into improving your quality of life, and you might even be grateful to me in a few months. Whatever you decide, the point is that it's time to change, or if not, then don't be surprised if your husband doesn't answer the phone even at quarter past eight, while you know he can't have anything to do. Of course, we know, it's his friends...

Showing motherhood as a status to the outside world is extremely important for a woman, but true societal maternal standing is revealed when life is difficult and often cruel, and yet remaining a woman under such circumstances is a fantastic thing, and men actually seek out such women, who are capable of this, because we want to live with such women, we want to have children with them, and we want to start a family with them. To live with real women in every situation, women who remain refined women under all circumstances, and that is the essence. However, not every woman is capable of the status of a real woman, this is a fact, they become one-night stands.
One of LifeTilt's most important missions is mass motivation. Showcasing life paths and exemplary lives of people who live among us. This post will be about 3 such women. 3 mothers who did not let themselves go after childbirth, and defying all the difficulties associated with motherhood, regained their former selves, their former figures. Let these 3 women be an example for all women to follow, even when it is very difficult to remain a mother, an attractive woman, and a desirable wife at the same time. This combination does not succeed for everyone, but as you can see, it is not an impossible task.

I gave birth to my daughter at 24. I read somewhere that many women really start to care about themselves and their figure during pregnancy. It was the same for me. No wonder, since a life forms inside you from a speck invisible to the naked eye. I was interested in how many kilos I would gain, it was bad to see my growing thighs, not to mention my cellulite-ridden butt. But when I looked in the mirror, I didn't care that much, because it was more important how big the little person living inside me might be.
So I grew from about 60 kilos to about 78 kilos for my 165 cm height. It's funny that everyone tells a pregnant woman not to worry about her weight, that it's not important in this blessed state, but every woman's second or third question when she meets a pregnant acquaintance is: "How much weight have you gained?" Of course, I didn't start shaping up in the first week after giving birth. In the first 1-2 months, I also tried to get into motherhood. Then, half-heartedly, I did a few exercises daily. I started to think that, considering I had just given birth, I was doing quite well. Then, when my grandmother came to visit my daughter, she remarked that she wouldn't give back the "little black" dress I had lent to my cousin, because it wouldn't fit me anyway.
I gave birth in September, and from December to July, I lost weight from 68 kg to 52 kg, at 24 years old, after having a child, while breastfeeding, and exercising every day.
I started with home DVDs. First, I did exercises for one body part daily. Then, when that went well, I added abdominal strengthening to every body part. All the while, I paid attention to whether I had enough milk; if there had been any problem, I would have stopped everything. Then, as it is written here on the blog, there were fewer and fewer DVDs. We bought ankle weights, dumbbells. That also went quite well. I exercised for 1 hour a day, which pleasantly tired me out, but it wasn't the real thing.
I stumbled upon the Lifetilt blog completely by accident around March. At that time, I must have been around 62 kilos, so, if you look at it that way, I almost reached my "dream weight." There's no question that you won't get your old body back. I can see on myself that my "girlish" waistline is gone, no point in sugarcoating it, my breasts won't be the same, and I also got stretch marks. But this blog does something to a person that makes you try even harder to be better in every area. So motherhood brought about a kind of shift in perspective in me. I saw a lot of success on the blog and at first, of course, I was a little envious. The conventional thoughts came: of course, she doesn't have a child yet, it's easy for her, I don't have time to run, I hated running even in high school... Finally, I got over it – because the blog also suggests a change in lifestyle and mindset. Influenced by it, I started running, supplementing the DVD exercises, making them more varied with other home-based ones. Instead of malicious thoughts, I now admired the people who had somehow overcome their limitations. So when I was running, or in the aforementioned case, I really didn't feel like exercising, I always thought that I wasn't alone, it wasn't easy for others either, others succeeded, I will too! I did all the exercises during the child's sleep time, I can't exercise with/next to a child, I don't think you can concentrate that way. And baby-and-mommy workouts are a joke to me.
I didn't have 20 kilos of excess weight when I started reading the Lifetilt blog. Maybe I would have stopped at 60-58 kilos, settling for that much, but luckily I didn't. Thank you! I felt that it was harder to get rid of those last few kilos than to get rid of the nagging thoughts. No excuses!!!! Yes, there are days when the child doesn't sleep all day, so I just get up and start at eight in the evening. That's the really hard part... but it was still worth it.
I gave birth to my daughter at 24. At 24, I am a mother, but I feel better about myself than ever before; I don't feel like I messed anything up or rushed anything. I love my child, but I also love myself enough to maintain my self-respect. Why not? If I feel good, my child and my husband will also feel good.

I've been reading your blog for a million years, and even though you're a pretty big jerk, I somehow like your attitude; I think this is the secret recipe for motivating women. However, dealing with mothers with young babies might not end well... I would strongly support women approaching life and themselves this way, respecting their husbands enough not to look like a baby seal, but a terribly small percentage of them will actually adopt this attitude.
I was 21 when I gave birth to my daughter. I am now 23, and in addition to the baby, there's university, housework, and two internships. I don't have a lot of free time, so I'm forced to use fitness DVDs, but I still manage about 5-6 hours of exercise a week, about 1 hour each, to maintain my level...
But from the moment you'd be proud that every area of your life is in order, the hyenas will tear you apart. I'm 23, and when they hear how much I do with a child, they immediately ask, WHO IS WATCHING THE CHILD WHILE YOU, YOU FILTHY BASTARD, ARE WASTING SO MUCH TIME ON YOURSELF AND YOUR SELF-REALIZATION? Nobody cares that I work during the baby's nap time and at night, or that I exercise with the little one. All that matters is that if you don't have 15-20 extra kilos on you, they definitely won't accept you.
I can talk to you about anything, I have an opinion on everything (which is usually not condescending – unless it's about good-for-nothings), and yet I'm at a point where the "mommy society" casts me out because I don't look like the turtle you mentioned. Okay, okay, from my own perspective, I don't give a damn, but it would be nice to take my one-and-a-half-year-old daughter to play with other children, but that's impossible this way.
In short, this will be much harder than you think, although it will have publicity value.
Good luck!

13 months ago, the apple of my eye was born, which was both the happiest and most difficult day of my life. Honestly, I was a shadow of my former self, and I didn't like the woman who looked back at me from the mirror.
Like a true woman, I always had some issue with myself. During my pregnancy, I had toxemia; in the last few weeks, my blood pressure was very high. The point is, I started my pregnancy at 52 kg, and by the time I gave birth, I was over 80 kg.
I'm 164 cm tall. After giving birth, I wasn't much less than 70-something kilos. I like to see myself looking good, I love to feel like a real woman, and my vanity was a great help to me. Honestly, I tried everything. From 'miracle pills' to not eating, I went through it all, like a desperate person eager to lose weight quickly. I didn't want to understand that the events of 9-10 months couldn't be reversed in 2 weeks.
I started first with speefitness, then realized it was useless and I like to work for my results anyway, I like to release tension, so I went to a gym specifically for women, where there are no men, no one makes me feel uncomfortable. I eliminated carbohydrates from my diet, meaning bread, pasta, and all white foods.
What I can confidently recommend to everyone is regular exercise, proper nutrition, and a blend of green tea and virgin tea. And last but not least, determination, perseverance, and implementation.
Draw strength from these women, and find men who deserve all the sacrifices you make for yourselves, for the relationship, for your family life, and last but not least, for your sex life.
