Miraculous Weight Loss with a Miraculous Method

I found this post on tumblr. http://writersblock-again.tumblr.com/
One reason I'm writing this post is the growing popularity of the Lifetilt blog. The other is related to Norbi Schobert, but I'll get to that later. First, let's talk about this blog – which, by the way, looks absolutely ugly and opaque – but seems to be taking over the domestic "Lose Weight and Go" platform. Its owner is a total jerk; he insults women as he pleases – and it seems that's exactly what we need. I believe that we, women, are most influenced by such – pardon my French – assholes who set high standards, and we want to meet them, mostly unconsciously, but still. I don't like rude people, but he still motivates me, tries to help, and his method works – but what kind of method is it, actually?
There's nothing new in it, and he admits it: he hasn't invented any new miracle cure for weight loss, he just shoves it down your throat that you shouldn't eat junk and should move as much as you can. It's not rocket science; any sensible person can distinguish between fried bacon and a tomato and decide which is better for them. Of course, I think what LifeTilt recommends is already an exaggeration; for certain body types, for example, you can't eat either melon or banana – but one thing is for sure, if they tell you they'll make you lose weight in three months, then in just 12 weeks, you'll look so good that you could be instantly thrown on the cover of Women's Health.

Then there's dear Norbi Schobert. My best friend, Eszter, and I used to work out a lot to the DVDs of his dear wife, Réka Rubint, and then we wondered why we weren't losing weight. I was standing at the Viva Comet gala, waiting for my whiskey cola, when I saw this golden couple coming from KFC with hands full, then sitting down and simultaneously stuffing themselves with fried chicken, fries, and muffins (well, I'm not sure about the muffins). All this happened around 10 PM. The unsuspecting, chubby housewife lifts her bottom to Rékuci's workout program and waits for results – she has no idea that these two are not all muscle from some super update.
I could mention many, many more blogs and methods like these – here on Tumblr, for example, many people run successful, healthy lifestyle diaries, among which my favorite is Taralynn McNitt's page, undressedskeleton.tumblr.com. What this girl has achieved is truly inspiring. In essence, the whole thing is not complicated: don't eat fattening foods, don't stuff yourself in the evening, and move as much as you can and as much as your time allows. Morning, evening, lunch break, it doesn't matter. Do cardio, run, cycle (though I've never been able to sweat on a bike, I must be doing something wrong), swim, then do a few strengthening sets, which the internet is full of these days.

I can warmly recommend the SparksPeople website. On it, you can track your diet and exercise, see your calorie breakdown, and how many you burned that day. You can easily check yourself and see where the bigger problems lie.
Essentially, it's not about dieting, but about lifestyle change. If you understand this, I don't think you'll have a problem walking past McDonald's without going in for a Big Mac.
