Diets on Death Row – Medical Diets

If we want to define the appropriate and healthy diet, we need to understand the following. Five meals a day, paying attention to calorie intake using foods where the protein, fat, and carbohydrate ratios are properly distributed. That's it.

Anything different from this is brainless bullshit, a contrived nonsense, a violation of existing healthy eating, which certainly has a negative, destructive effect on the human body.

We tend to believe that anyone with "Dr." before their name understands their so-called field, although believing this unconditionally and giving it credit presupposes at least an enormous naiveté, because sometimes these supposed experts cause the most destruction. The best example of this is the groundless diets created by doctors, to whom humanity owes such messed up diets as Dukan, Atkins, ADF, Hay's separating diet, or even the Level diet, which is specifically an official diet of a medical clinic. Make no mistake, I'm not speaking against doctors in general, but against those doctors who are modern-day quacks, disgraces to their profession, about whom I honestly don't even believe they can properly apply a band-aid. A degree means nothing, possessing papers implies nothing.

Of course, it's not just among doctors that you find idiots operating at the level of EZO TV. Every field produces its own untalented disabled people; just think of the fraudsters among law graduates who find themselves in dead-end situations, the quack lawyers, the economics graduates who flounder in OVB, Brokernet, Forex, Zepter schemes, and I believe everyone has met a teacher who should literally be banned from within 50 meters of schools because they are completely incapable of interacting with children, let alone teaching.

Millions of copies of various nonsensical books disguised as professional literature are sold, and if we find "Dr." on the cover, we immediately stop questioning, as we have the ancient reflex of university and diploma. Yes, but universities are no longer what they used to be. Are you dumb as hell, and you have no chance of passing a certain exam even on your eighth attempt? No problem. Retake fee, cough up a little more credit money, and try seven more times. Didn't get into a state-funded program? 440,000/semester, and you get the illusion that you belong there too.

However, the watering down of higher education doesn't explain everything; it's more like a possible answer to unanswered questions, namely, how on earth can doctors lend their names to diets that go against everything they supposedly learned for years about the human body and its healthy functioning? How can doctors recommend complete carbohydrate deprivation? How can doctors suggest 16 hours of complete food deprivation from the body, but what I'm even more curious about is how on earth is it possible that today at SOTE's Faculty of Nutritional Science, future dietitians are taught that you can eat anything, but in moderation? They tear me apart for how I can recommend 98% chicken breast ham, but damn it, no one seems to care that institutionalized crap is going on, and alleged doctors are creating diets that literally destroy the functioning of the human body and cause incalculable damage in the short and long term. Oh, they have a piece of paper for it. Then, if I may, they should wipe their asses with their diplomas, so that scroll of paper might serve some useful purpose.

Dr. Mengele created a lasting legacy between 1942 and 1944. Let's see who the Hannibal Lecters of modern times are, and what diets humanity and hundreds of millions of desperate women owe them.

Dukan Diet

Two lost lawsuits, the French Agency for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety (ANSES) puts the Dukan diet on a blacklist, and a 2012 initiative proposed revoking Dr. Pierre Dukan's medical degree. If I wanted to convey the Dukan diet and its perception very briefly, this would be enough.

According to many, the Dukan diet is an updated version of the Atkins method, which says everything about this diet, given that the Atkins method was written during the darkest hours of medical diets, and the pen with which it was written was forged in the fire of doom.

I want to clarify something at the outset. Dr. Pierre Dukan is a dickhead. He's ignorant of fundamental things like the nutritional content of food, and he ignores trifles like basic nutritional needs. His lack of understanding is well illustrated by his belief that protein intake is equivalent to milk and yogurts, but there was also a lawsuit in 2011 that he initiated against Dr. Jean-Michel Cohen, who said that the Dukan diet drastically increases cholesterol levels, thereby causing heart disease. Dr. Dukan openly admitted his total lack of knowledge in nutritional science with this. Dukan naturally lost the lawsuit, meaning the Dukan diet officially has a negative impact on the heart and circulatory system.

The Dukan diet is divided into 4 phases. The first phase is the so-called attack phase, which lasts for 5 days and involves total carbohydrate deprivation. However, this is a problem. Not only because the brain's basic carbohydrate needs suddenly cease, but also because the performance of other organs and the body in general drastically decreases. Dukan doesn't recommend more than 20 minutes of walking for a reason. The monkey couldn't recommend anything else, as the poor person has no chance of doing any other kind of exercise after such deprivation.

In this phase, the destruction of the body begins, cholesterol levels are sent soaring by following the "meat with meat" principle, and the kidneys are crushed due to excessively increased protein intake. As for fat intake, well, according to Dukan, all fish are fine. Even freshwater ones, no matter how fatty, are not a problem.

The Dukan diet is dangerous not because the system is flawed as it is, but because Pierre Dukan specifies its application for 1-1.5 years. Therefore, the body must be deprived of essential nutrients for such a long period, and precisely because of this, the Dukan diet was selected as one of the 15 most harmful diets by the French Food Agency.

8-hour diet

The 8-hour diet is also linked to a doctor, specifically to Californian biologist Dr. Satchidananda, who says we should choose any 8 hours from the 24 hours of the day!!!! and eat anything!!! during these 8 hours, but we are forbidden to consume anything during the remaining 16 hours. Now I think even those who believe a croissant is more diet-friendly than bread are slapping their foreheads, but if you think about it, the warrior's diet operates on a similar principle. Well, that's another huge failure, I'll write about it, calm down.

Atkins Diet

Hermann Göring, Rudolf Heß, Joachim von Ribbentrop, Wilhelm Keitel, Ernst Kaltenbrunner, Hans Frank, Wilhelm Frick, Julius Streicher, Walther Funk, Hjalmar Schacht, Karl Dönitz, Erich Raeder, Baldur von Schirach, Fritz Sauckel, Alfred Jodl, Hans Fritzsche.

A list of names from the Nuremberg trials of 1946, among whom Dr. Robert Atkins could easily be seated, as in my opinion, he is the creator of the most harmful and disease-causing diet of the last 50 years. Atkins doesn't waste much time; he says, let's take carbohydrates and completely exclude them from our diet. Atkins is much harsher than Dukan, so the effects of Atkins on the body are exponentially greater. The diet itself first appeared in 1972, but the clever press, led by women's magazines, only discovered it in the mid-90s and it swept across the world. Since then, thousands of studies have been published, and countless forums discuss the harmful effects of the Atkins method, led by people who fell ill or, worse, died from the Atkins method, like a 16-year-old American girl who was demonstrably killed by Atkins. Nothing proves the harmful effects of the method better than the fact that Atkins himself admittedly followed his own system, yet he died of a heart attack, which is clearly linked to his diet. Zero carbohydrates, but bacon with chicken liver, and beef with eggs and sausages. This is the solution according to Atkins.

However, with the Atkins method, one cannot ignore the responsibility of the media and global celebrities. Numerous top-list stars promoted the method, and most sadly, Atkins is even mentioned in The Sopranos series, which contributed to it becoming one of the most widespread diets in the world. The big hype around Atkins is subsiding, in fact, in recent years, it's rarely heard of, which is not accidental, and let this be a cautionary tale for anyone planning to embark on an Atkins-like rampage. The diet is unsustainable, unhealthy, it destroys the heart, circulation, and significantly increases the risk of cancerous diseases.

Among others, Matthew Perry was also a devoted Atkins follower. In 2013, everyone's Chandler looked like this.

Hay Diet

The Hay diet was developed in the early 20th century by American physician Dr. Howard Hay. According to Hay, humans cannot simultaneously digest protein and carbohydrates, so he suggests separating them. Only protein for lunch, only carbohydrates for dinner, for better digestibility. The diet was created in the early 1900s, and it has since been scientifically proven that the theory is completely nonsensical. The theory was debunked approximately 60 years ago, and it was declared that the Hay separating diet is bullshit, yet this doesn't confuse the few million people who still believe in the method and Dr. Howard Hay's fantastic mind to this day.

Tongue Patch

One day, Dr. Nikolas Chugay, a plastic surgeon from Beverly Hills, had an idea and decided to ruin the lives of a few already mentally unstable, cracked women. The method is both fantastic and evokes the particularly refined torture methods of the Recsk labor camps. The essence of the matter is a patch sewn onto the tongue, which causes excruciating pain when it comes into contact with solid food. The method is not yet perfect, because the tongue, being what it is, sometimes touches the palate, so speech also needs to be relearned. Despite its brutality, the method is spreading, as Dr. Chugay's website guarantees a monthly weight loss of 13!!! kilos after the patch is applied.

Dr. Chugay didn't stop there, as he also developed an 800-calorie diet to go along with the patch, which I'm not linking here only because I'm afraid there would be a few real brain-dead people who would click on it and start following what's written there. The procedure costs $2000.

Prolinn Diet

Dr. Robert Linn (yes, a doctor) created a diet drink in the 70s called "the last chance," the basis of which was a product called Prolinn. The product consisted of fantastic ingredients such as liquefied animal skin, tendons, and other slaughterhouse by-products. This liquid was attempted to be made palatable with artificial flavorings, but after several people died from their weight loss attempts, the product was banned. Robert Linn was sentenced to 15 years in prison...

At this point, I'm speechless. There are many other methods developed by doctors, but there comes a point when you just sit there, staring blankly, and can't believe what you're seeing. You're no longer angry, you're not looking for someone else's glance to say, "damn, I can't believe this," you no longer want to understand how there are people who, when they encounter, say, a Pados-style diet, don't say "motherfucker," but instead start it and stick with it.

Breakfast: black coffee without sugar, 1 roll

Lunch: 2 boiled eggs, raw or cooked carrots, cheese

Dinner: plain yogurt, fruit

Cool, right? A strong 400 calories. Look at this daily diet as a diet compiled by a chief physician!!! But seriously, that's really extreme. I know Hungarian healthcare is ridiculous as it is, but at least let's set a minimum standard.

"We can expect the best results with medical and dietitian help, as it is difficult to maintain the diet for more than half a year without appetite-suppressing medication," says Pados.

With this quote, I bid farewell. We really can't go any lower than this.
