Life Transformation

Part 1: Summer Transformation
Thousands of studies have been published examining the Facebook phenomenon and the paramount importance of the "like" button. They sought answers to a question that was always the same.

How and why, in just three years, did a university communication channel become a global platform that fundamentally impacted our daily lives and became a part of us?

The answer was quite prosaic and always the same: we love to be loved. We need validation that what we do, how we live, is also appealing to others. To share moments of our lives that we deem important, to send a signal to the outside world, and to observe how those around us, whether important or less important, perceive it. The feeling of being loved, because the plain truth is that no matter what we try to make others believe about ourselves, no matter what mask we wear in life, we are all beggars for love.

The situation is that we're in deep trouble. We live in constant turmoil and uncertainty, under immense pressure, and we stress ourselves out over real or imagined problems. Existential, health, and emotional states. These are the three main factors of life that can fundamentally determine our condition, and if even one of them is not in order, we become vulnerable, it affects our lives, and consequently, how we are perceived.

All the bad things that happen to us can be traced back to a lack of love. To rejection, to feeling unwanted, that what we do isn't good, that we're not enough, not capable, to experiencing our failures and our lack of success. Of course, in such times, we need to compensate and recharge. Recharge in any way, because we need to feel loved.

The proud singles and their "fuck buddies," just to give an example. Who, of course, mean nothing, just emotionless, casual sex, nothing more, even though that "meaningless" sex is the point of validation. Because it's one thing that they don't need anyone, but they still need to feel that someone needs them. These are interesting things.

After a while, one realizes that life is not at all what one imagined it to be, and even a successful life won't help if you're not happy in it. If your health isn't in order, what do you do besides realizing you can't do anything? What do you do besides asking yourself why it's always you, why all this is happening to you? If you have existential problems, that's the lesser evil, because unlike health issues, you can at least change that, if you are humanly capable. In any case, this is also a very strong point of inner struggle. Then there's the best part, emotional life, which perhaps of all things can screw you over the most fantastically. This is perhaps the most terrible of all, because it has no expiration date, and you can't even change it.

But these are just the three big categories. We haven't even talked about perceived or real problems, the petty fights in life, malice, workplace harassment, the passing of years, the lack of self-actualization, not achieving our dreams, but even if you achieve something, it's never enough, because you always need more. You always need damn more, and you never feel it's enough. Now, of course, I could also write that one should be happy with the little good, and that everything is a matter of attitude, but I would leave this self-deceptive foolishness to those who are content with just that much, to whom it's fine the way it is even if it's bad, to whom everything is indifferent.

When life doesn't give you what you want, we have to do something. We need someone who helps, from whom we receive love, or perhaps we need something that makes us feel lighter. Cigarettes, alcohol, drugs. Our most known and stable friends in trouble, but this familiarity never solves problems, you only temporarily feel something that doesn't actually exist.

What do you do then? What can you do besides not giving up and fighting on? What gives you the strength not to give up, what gives you strength when you're at rock bottom? Do you get drunk and believe that in those few hours everything will change or get better? Reality is constant. Your state of mind may change, but the circumstances and reality, that damned reality, do not. Don't close your eyes, because it's pointless, you don't see with your eyes, and unfortunately, we all know this very well. There will come a point when you've lost all faith, nothing helps, you don't know what to do with yourself anymore, you run out of strength, and the feeling of being loved also wanes. This is when we fall into the second big mistake, expecting solutions from other people, but all this is just a substitute activity, because they can't help either.

Before we go any further, it wouldn't hurt to clarify something. LifeTILT wasn't created because I found the truth and wanted to make this Holy Grail, the only stable point in life, accessible to the broadest masses. That's not what it's about. I started something back then because my life was a series of failures, and I couldn't see a way out. I started something, anything, to do something with myself that might help.

It was merely an alignment of the stars or divine luck that I started down the path of sports and exercise. All the extra I had been searching for for years, I found along the way. That's when I realized that sports and exercise are the only stable points in my life that help even when everything around me seems to be collapsing.

If I was tense and could no longer bear the heavy burden of problems on my shoulders, I simply put on my shoes and went for a run. I didn't have the strength for it, I didn't feel like it, it was raining outside, or there were cruel sub-zero temperatures. But I started, because I knew that in that half hour, the whole world would change, and I would see more clearly.

I was disappointed, hurt, life was unfair, my future could have been hopeless, but exercise always helped, and in reality, it always pushed me forward. In such moments, all the tension would break free from me. It was just me and the road ahead, just me and the weights against me. After every meter run, it became easier, after every kilometer run, I not only covered distances but also, imperceptibly, moved forward in life. The solution is right in front of our eyes, but life distorts reality so much that we are no longer able to notice it.

Before LifeTILT, I didn't know there was another world. Where strength isn't needed for survival, but for continuous development, where help isn't to be expected from others, but solely from yourself, where performance shouldn't always be measured against others, but against yourself and your dreams. I found the source. The source from which you can draw not only strength but also love. Because sport gives you the strength and the foundation upon which you can build your entire life. Because if you do this, and if people see you performing, if there's reason to look up to you, if they see that in this cruel world you achieve what most are incapable of, then they will love you. Without asking or demanding, simply because they will want to be near you and want to know your recipe, how you succeeded. How life didn't grind you down, where you draw your strength from.

With exercise, you don't need to have a specific goal. The visual appearance of your body and the fact that you will look much better and be healthier are just welcome byproducts. That's not what truly matters. Movement is a tool with which you not only fight your demons and the pains caused by life but also successfully overcome them. Everyone is looking for a solution that they believe they can achieve with money or through someone, which will bring them peace and allow them to live a happier life. Most people don't find the solution because no matter where they go, they don't find it, they don't find that person or thing that would bring them absolution. Yet, the solution is there, you just need to look in the mirror sometimes, because the person who can help you is right there.

Sport helps with everything, but for this, you are needed, no one else. If you do this systematically, within a framework, you will be capable of miracles. You need to understand why you need to do what you do, you need to understand that this system will later give you much more than what you will have to do for it. Entry into a new world. Systematized from the very first steps all the way to the point where you too will be enlightened, just as I was 3 years ago. And this will be one of the most important days of your life.

The mental foundations of the system. This will be the topic of the third part of the blog series…
