Hallgasd, és fuss

Listen and run

In June 2012, a video was uploaded to YouTube that is one of, if not the best, motivational video ever made in Hungary.

In 12 minutes, the video compiles monologues about perseverance, willpower, actions, and overcoming oneself. The video itself is fantastic, and it truly provides such strength that when I watched it, I constantly felt like, "This is it, now I will tear out the soul of life, and do something that will make me stand on top of the world."

However, this post is not about introducing this video, because with its 1,400,000 views, anyone with even minimal interest in sports and who has searched for motivational videos online while shaping their body has surely encountered it.

The essence of motivational videos is that after watching them, you are overwhelmed by that insatiable desire for action, when you realize that you need to change, that you can achieve anything. The problem begins when the video ends and it's time for action. Most people fail here because the effect a video like this produces, in most cases, only generates world-moving energy for hours, or in worse cases, only for minutes.

Listening to music during exercise helps you break away from reality, and the combined effect of the music and the images in your head can transport you to any world you desire. In our minds, we all live another life. A life whose realization is only possible for moments or not at all due to the constraints of everyday life and its circumstances.

Music sets the mood for workouts and creates the atmosphere we see in movies, and as Jim Carrey once said, the worst thing about reality is that it doesn't have background music. The music we listen to can fundamentally determine the pace of a workout, its momentum, the flow of our energy, and most often it is the greatest help when we are lying on the floor, exhausted, at the gym, or thinking about the remaining 4 kilometers after the sixth.

A lot depends on the choice of music, and for that certain 12-minute video titled "Motivation, watch it every day, every morning", we couldn't find better music for our workouts if we tried, especially if you're just starting to work out.

That's why you should do the following.

1. Open the mentioned video on YouTube.

2. Download Freemake Video Converter. This program allows you to download the video to your computer. To download the program, click this link.

3. After installing it on your computer, open the program. Click on "Paste URL," and the YouTube video will appear below it.

4. Then click on the MP3 icon in the bottom row, and then on the "Convert" button in the pop-up window.

Once the conversion is complete, you'll have an MP3 file on your computer containing the audio of the video. Put it on your player, put on your running shoes, turn on the music, and run. You'll experience the rest. It will be the best music in the world, and you'll feel the same power you felt when you watched the video at home in front of your computer, only now you'll feel it during your workout. It's going to be awesome, I guarantee it.

The rest is up to you...
