Christmas RunT!lt in Városliget

On December 20th, a special RunT!lt is being organized. But not only because for the first time it will not be held on Margaret Island, but in Városliget (City Park), but also because with Christmas approaching, I would like to announce a charity event.

Under the code name "Santa's Factory," the Hungarian Red Cross organizes a collection for children in need every year, which will take place again this year, and to which LifeT!lt will also join. The essence of the collection is that next to Heroes' Square, in Felvonulási Square, there is a tent with a really big Santa Claus watching, where everyone can drop off their donations, be it non-perishable food, clothing, or even outgrown toys. RunT!lt will join this event on December 20th.

So I would like to ask everyone participating in RunT!lt's Christmas run to bring anything they no longer need and would like to send to children in need before we run the 3.2 km distance in Városliget. As I mentioned, this can be food, a vitamin package, clothing, a board game, a plush bear, a video game not used in a thousand years, toiletries, or cleaning products, but really anything you can hand over on-site to the Red Cross, who will deliver these donations to needy families by Christmas. On behalf of LifeT!lt, we will bring canned goods worth 50,000 forints, so I hope they like Transylvanian goulash in Borsod, and I hope Dad's car's suspension will handle the load. Anyone who doesn't want to run in the -4 degree weather but wants to help with a donation is also welcome.

So, the meeting is on Thursday, December 20th, at 7:00 PM in Felvonulási Square next to Városliget, in front of the Santa tent shown in the picture above, and let's hand over the gifts together. Those who can, please come in black and bring eggnog. Réka will bake some characteristic diet Christmas cake, and Kristóf will surely bring some Shaolin wisdom. We will be there, so come join us.
