One and a half years

It's been a year and a half since I stopped writing daily posts, and it was around this time that the blog died and the first days of LifeTILT as a brand were born.

I used to find it easy to write, because I simply wrote about what was happening to me, what I was going through, how the training+diet combo affected my body, and how my life was changing due to increasing popularity.

Then, willy-nilly, came the point when things couldn't go on as before, because TILT simply outgrew itself, and more importantly, outgrew the format it had when LifeTILT was just one blog among thousands, and no one beyond a few hundred people knew what LifeTILT meant, or who this clueless kid writing under the name benedekbence was.

Since then, of course, everything has changed. LifeTILT has become a defining part of the internet world, and people like Katus, Czanik, and Béres Alexandra have long ceased to be my competition, if we only look at Google search numbers. TILT became a factor, and LifeTILT became ingrained in public consciousness. People can hate me, sometimes rightfully outraged by my writings, my undoubtedly extreme views on the world, but one thing cannot be denied me. And that is that in two and a half years, I built a brand from scratch that can no longer be ignored, and as I see it, people aren't ignoring it.

A year and a half ago, I had to stop writing daily posts because I saw no point in continuing. While in 2011 I could easily call out a company, fully and justifiably, for their unhealthy products advertised as healthy, today I cannot do that, because what I write here reaches the representatives of the companies concerned in moments, and they will not hesitate to take appropriate legal action. Of course, this was also true in the past, but what a difference it is that back then I was threatened with a lawsuit as a private individual, whereas now they are acting against a company, where a mere correction is no longer enough, but a civil lawsuit and claims for millions in damages could be filed against me in moments.

LifeTILT's goal is to spread what is good, what is effective, as widely as possible, and to write about the crap that surrounds us, slowly overflowing everything, that it stinks, and don't do it, don't fall for it. After a while, I couldn't do this anymore, and at this point, I became deeply, deeply fed up.

Living one's everyday life, as I did until 2011, makes one see many things differently. My initial successes were due to the fact that there was a person who didn't care about social conventions, and didn't soil himself by going against a company, fearing the consequences. People are afraid, and most people are either unaware of this, or simply don't want to acknowledge it, but they are very severely intimidated.

And this kind of fear is nothing other than dread of losing what we have. A significant part of Hungarian society no longer strives for more, but simply to keep what they have already achieved. But sometimes, a person has nothing left to lose, or if they do, they don't care if they lose what they have. In 2011, I was such a person. Nothing mattered to me, and even though I owned things, had a registered job, a relatively stable life, I actually had nothing, and I wasn't afraid to lose these benefits, because they were nothing, and most importantly, they were worthless to me.

Then, in 2011, I fell into a dream. Initially, this dream was a magnificent one. A dream where I wished I would never wake up, and every single day I dreaded the thought that it might ever end. Then months passed, and my dream became more and more nightmarish, a terrible burden I wanted to escape, and I wished I would wake up, but I couldn't, I was simply unable to. Crowds of people surrounded me, but in reality, no one was there for me, and I experienced the true nature of loneliness. Every form of love and hate poured over me from a thousand directions, but I never truly experienced real emotions. People recognized me on the street and came up to greet me like old acquaintances, but I didn't know them; they were strangers to me. I found myself in a world where nothing is what it seems, where most emotions are just a mirage, where the names of people have no meaning to me, where everything is just an illusion, nothing is tangible.

I live in a dream world, and there is no point in waking up anymore, because outside of LifeTILT, there is no world for me. I have slept too long, and reality no longer exists for me; there is nowhere left to wake up.

LifeTILT is my life's work, my life, and I will probably never create anything better or greater than TILT. I could even be proud of TILT, but why deny it, I am. I have built a brand in recent times whose birth everyone could witness. No investors stood behind me, and they still don't; everything I achieved, I owe to myself, and it involved an inhuman amount of work hours.

The mistakes and blunders of LifeTILT, the unfulfilled programs, the obvious spelling errors were not due to the erroneous decisions of a multinational company's employees, but because I made mistakes, I crumbled, I got tired, and I didn't care. LifeTILT is life itself, and that's precisely what makes it so authentic, because it functions the way a person lives their daily life. With mistakes, bad decisions, overcommitment, emotional swings—exactly as I, or anyone else, lives their daily life.

LifeTILT is now a company, a brand name; it would be futile to deny it. I fought against it, I didn't want it to be this way, but beyond a certain point, I had to admit that I couldn't cling to the past, because that would stop the development of LifeTILT and thus my own development.

In recent years, I have been remiss in presenting this process, that is, how a business that now generates multi-million profits on a monthly basis was built from scratch. Many stories, the ruthless world of business and its biggest slaps, the creation of LifeTILT supplements from inception to realization – in other words, everything that was needed for me to reach where I am now, where LifeTILT is now. I didn't want to write about these before, but now I simply don't care.

So, from Monday, the era of daily posts will dawn again on LifeTILT. Just about my life, my everyday, my thoughts, my workouts, just as I started once upon a time. Maybe sometimes it will be a little short, a little sour, but it will be ours. It will be like our lives.
