We are living in an age of uncertainties, as in the last few weeks two things have most occupied the world press and stirred up economic actors, thus setting the public agenda. One question worth billions of Euros was posed by Greece to the IMF, while the other topic of general interest is when the Summerproject will start. For those who don't know why Greece got into such a mess, despite the fact that the MSZP (Hungarian Socialist Party) didn't govern there for 8 years, read portfolio.hu's article titled Shocking Benefits. So much for the people of Zeus, because more important things happened in recent days. After a month of messing around, the Summerproject will start in 2 weeks. The cause of the uncertainty was Vodafone, as they pulled out at the last minute as main sponsors. I would like to take this opportunity to assure Vodafone Hungary that I deeply despise them, and I can wholeheartedly vomit very far from them. They justified their withdrawal with a changed marketing strategy. Of course, the real reasons should be sought at the Economic Competition Office…
"After a year, the Competition Office decided: Vodafone Hungary engaged in unfair commercial practices towards consumers in connection with its "Win with Vodafone" premium SMS game, which took place between June 21 and August 15 last year. So much for Vodafone. After all, the entire show was built on them and their money, of course, after several weeks of negotiations. UPC eventually saved the Summerproject's ass from capitalist ass-fucking, and since the show once again has a main sponsor, it looks like this web reality show will start in mid-July, albeit a bit late. About the show, I will transform a guy in 10 weeks, and cameras will follow his life and every process of change, which can be followed online and you can join our trainings. To Nike, as another sponsor, I would like to say that they should try to behave like a global company and not approach things with the stinginess of a family business.
Today is June 30, which means we start shooting in 2 weeks. This entails a few things. Among others, that my program starts tomorrow and it looks very much like I will still be washing down Sound with mineral water, but I'm not just screwing up this year's festival because of the Summerproject.
When I started writing Lifetilt, I vowed that even if I crapped my pants, I would make this blog more than just one of many blogs. Then this idea grew, and one of my new goals became to expand Lifetilt into a movement that conveys values disinterestedly and can become a point of reference when healthy living is discussed, something one can stand behind and proudly embrace. A movement based on workouts, diet, and a sports-driven lifestyle. Promoting healthy living and building the Lifetilt community and mindset nationwide. A movement that carries the spirit of Lifetilt beyond the blog's framework, meaning that you don't need any aids, you don't need miracle cures, you only need yourself and your determination. Lifetilt wants to give you that extra something you can't get anywhere else. The mental help and the kind of push that starts you on the path to a healthier, fuller, and higher quality life.
The first big breakthrough was the Bitch-Air article with over 200,000 readers, after which I decided to live my dreams. Lifetilt needs further advertisements and appearances that reach as many people as possible. My energy and resources are finite. I cannot achieve this alone, and although many of you read this crap, I no longer have the strength, time, or energy to move to the next level, so I had to make a decision. Either I keep writing the blog and stop when it runs out of steam, preempting the sad state and phases of decline, or I embark on something risky, something that might ruin me and brand me for life, but alongside the nightmare of failure, there is also that dream image that I will be able to paint with this opportunity. The bottom line is, I applied for Való Világ 5 (Big Brother Hungary 5).
This kind of advertisement for Lifetilt and the boost I could achieve by potentially getting in would give the blog a push I would never get anywhere else. I want to make Lifetilt successful and the spirit that Lifetilt represents. If I have to go into a show like Való Világ for this, then I will. If I fail, then I fail, but that was my decision, and I won't cry afterward about what I might leave behind personally. I remember an old interview on Kék Fény with a man whose wife was terminally ill, and a scammer sold the family some therapeutic treatment, thus extorting one and a half million forints from their pockets. Of course, the woman died. When they asked the man if he would have agreed to the treatment with his current knowledge, he said yes, because if there was even a small chance that it would cure his wife, he would go through anything, and he didn't care how much it cost. This way, at least he wouldn't hit his head against the wall, wondering what if this treatment had helped.
I will go for it, taking on all future criticism and all the pressure such a show demands. Am I ready for it? Yes, because of my goals, and beyond that, nothing else matters to me. We all live for our goals and want to achieve them. After a while, we have to decide whether to jump or perish at the edge of the abyss, dreaming about what if... what might be in the depths. So, I officially begin my preparations tomorrow for both the Summerproject and ValóVilág 5. Oh, I haven't even told you the best part. The first casting will be on July 9th at 12:30 PM. Yes, right in the middle of Balaton Sound, so I'll have a nice little trip there and back on Saturday. I'll have plenty to think about on the train.
