On the scales
Megosztás
Some people just want to be thin, but there are also those who truly want to look good. Unfortunately, the two are not the same, and although getting thin requires effort, the real challenge is achieving the right muscle tone, which gives a woman that truly sexy figure.
Despite this, most women don't want muscles and don't want to be muscular. Women are in a lifelong bloody war with themselves and their appearance, measuring the number of battles won by the smallest possible numbers on the scale. They can never win this fight with a simple diet, because the scale means nothing; only the mirror truly matters, but most women will never be able to grasp this.
How did the scale become a part of millions of women's lives? Why do objects that merely display numbers determine their well-being and self-image?
The answer is simple. Women are unable to assess themselves realistically. Not only do they struggle to place themselves in everyday life, but their perception of their appearance also heavily depends on the outside world and the totality of external human opinions. A woman never sees herself as beautiful, or if she does, and she encounters a look she can't interpret, or even worse, negative feedback, she can instantly overwrite everything she thought about herself, the thickness of her thighs, her calves, the size of her breasts, or indeed the certainty of her femininity.

Do my shoes match my bag? Does this skirt make me look fat? Does the intensity of my makeup distract men's gaze too much from my cleavage, which, of course, I display so they'll notice, but when they do, I get incredibly annoyed that they can't look me in the eye? Contradictions, a complete lack of rationality, and constantly changing emotional states, eternal dissatisfaction with their appearance. This characterizes women; this is the world of women. Chaos and uncertainty.
In this world, women seek anchors, they hope for self-justification, which they mostly expect from a man, or the positive opinion of many men, and this is the main catalyst for seeking a sense of security. For a woman, there are no facts, no constant factorials; they only need the appearance of things, illusions, a good-looking fantasy they can believe in, but if life dictates otherwise, they can also feel the opposite is true. A woman can be convinced of anything, anything can be made to believe them, even if the coefficients of the equation are entirely meaningless.
After a while, a woman is aware of the types of men and what to expect from which man, which guy just wants to sleep with her, which man will emotionally trample her badly, but women don't care about this. They believe because they want to believe, and they are willing to walk into the same pit for the thousandth time, where their souls have been hurt and they have been exploited more than once. They know the end of the road will be painful, but if the journey itself feels good, if they hear what they want to hear along the way, and if they get everything that feeds their femininity and their sense of beauty, then they disregard the facts, because the illusion and their vanity are stronger than rationally observing events.

In the chaotic world of women, there is only one certainty. Those points to which, by their nature, emotions cannot be associated. This is the world of mathematics and numbers. The scale is perfectly suited for this, and perhaps the only common denominator that connects mathematics as stability with the objective evaluation of women's appearance. Numbers don't lie; mathematics is a factor that even women's brains cannot override with any system of arguments, nor are emotions influenced by it.
A woman will never believe the mirror, because what she sees in it, she simply cannot interpret correctly, and she will never truly appreciate herself for who she is. Women are aware of their shortcomings and how terribly susceptible they are. A woman believes another person's opinion a thousand times more, no matter how subjective it may be, than her own eyes. I could write a thousand times that the scale means nothing, and you won't become a good-looking woman because the numbers on the scale are constantly decreasing, but because of what you see in the mirror. It would be pointless to show you with thousands of pictures that muscle is heavier than fat, and you might weigh 53 kilos now, but you'll only look truly good and shapely, which requires muscles, at 60 or 62 kilos.

I'll put this picture here, and in the minds and heads of thousands of women, the realization will be born: damn, I'm right, only the mirror truly matters. Then they'll start exercising, put on a few kilos of muscle, and when the scale shows +4 kilos, they'll collapse and start crazy diets until the scale shows a lower number.
Muscle gives shape. That's what makes a butt round and firm, not flabby like from dieting. Muscle makes thighs firm, and muscle prevents jiggle. Muscle gives the body posture, those true feminine lines. One doesn't become feminine from a starved body, where the curves are given by the skeleton, with only tissue and skin over it.
This has been written a hundred times before me, and probably will be a thousand times after me, but none of it matters, and never will. And that's precisely because of what I wrote above. This is how women are, this is how the female brain works, and no textbook, no hundreds of arguments will ever help with this, and most painfully, neither will this post.
