Petra's Report Day 12

I've passed the first critical 12 days!!!

To those who were rubbing their hands together, thinking I'd fail at the very beginning, I send this message: THANK YOU, I'M DOING FINE!!!

Dear Tamás, this is for you too. Because you are the most distrustful, thanks to many "know-it-all" people you consulted about me.

How is it...

It's surprising how much harder it is to put thoughts on paper when you feel like things are going well around you.

I mean, while I was suffering through the first 6 days with a throbbing head and sweating, it seemed so easy to express how cruelly agonizing it can be to radically change my lifestyle.

Every hour of my days is scheduled. Work, training, and cooking has also moved into my life. (I've had trouble with that)

Given that I am not a masochist, I decided to prepare my current day's lunch on the morning of the day I would eat it.

The simple reason for this is that I have to wait less time to eat it. J

I also had weak attempts at evening concoctions, but I found the smell of delicious steamed fish cruel while I was eating my natural salad/protein shake dinner, which resulted in some sleepless nights and all kinds of binge-eating dreams.

It's an amazing feeling to lose weight without feeling hungry for a minute.

Tomi adjusted my diet a bit because I often couldn't eat the prescribed amount.

Of course, this doesn't mean that he reduced the daily calorie intake; he just calculated so that what I eat has the same value even in smaller quantities.

E.g.: for breakfast, a protein shake with 1 banana and a handful of muesli (a hefty amount, I couldn't finish it once) was replaced by two hard-boiled eggs.

In summary, I'm doing well in terms of diet, but the menu repeating in a "crop rotation" every 4 days is starting to get on my nerves, which sparks my imagination and makes me start to vary things in my head.

I'll present this with a dialogue between Tomi and me:

The question comes from behind, sneakily:

Petra:

- Listen, can I eat yogurt later?

(I knew it wouldn't stand up in front of him like that, so I started to explain a bit)

- But you know, not these crappy fruit things, but something I make. Plain yogurt and I'd blend fruit with it! Hmm?

(I was waiting for a big yes, but of course, I didn't get what I wanted to hear again)

Tomi with his back to me: (He didn't turn around, fortunately, so I couldn't see his disdainful glance)

- Is it in your diet, what I wrote?

(Already from the tone and raw style, I was starting to crumble, but I knew it wouldn't end there)

Petra: No-no! (Meanwhile, I was wondering if I should add the question "will it never be"??),

but then he continued:

Tomi, still with his back to me:

- Then why the hell are you varying again?? I told you to eat what I clearly wrote for you.

(and with that, he considered this futile dialogue finished) Fortunately for me.

So along with honey, yogurt also got ingrained in my mind as a beloved product that I strongly ignored.

 Rock your body Rock...

The gym question was the hardest to solve.

It's not as easy as running, which we can do anywhere, anytime with good shoes.

I had to take into account my unpredictable work schedule, in which only one thing is certain: I have to be in by 9 AM.

1.
attempt: The loser

Life1 is clearly out

2.
attempt: Flee

I came to the conclusion that the optimal time would be from 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM.

A new gym opened a street away from my workplace, and it even had the equipment needed for my training program. I was starting to be happy when I found out that it opens at 8 AM, because currently, the gym attendance is limited to about 5 people (they're also friends and playing chess, damn it), and the Arab guy, who I assumed was the owner, informed me that this was just a "demo" version because they didn't have the necessary papers to operate.... (oh my god)

3.
attempt The winner

Fitness 2000

2 levels (separate cardio and body) with millions of equipment.

You don't feel nervous that you're constantly being watched, and you don't feel cramped, even though there are a lot of people moving around you. The distance covered between machines also burns fat, the building is that big.

Opening hours: 6 AM - 10 PM, so I can get there after work and finish everything by 10 PM, they just barely don't lock the gym on me. I do this twice a week.

Daily pass: 800 HUF, if you go to aerobics, you can use the gym with it afterward.

The trainers are kind and have beautiful bodies (I must add, they are all fitness champions and KIND)

You don't feel like if you ask a question, you have to hand them some cash to get a decent answer.

I have no problem with the program itself, as Tomi showed me all the exercises one by one during a joint training session.

I have trouble with adjusting the machines, but imagine, if they see you fumbling, they run right over and ask what you want, they help, and then if there are no further questions, they disappear with a smile on their faces, letting you know that they are there if you have technical problems again.

It's such a good feeling that you constantly have in mind that you can be a member of this large team, that you are being watched and cared for, but your intimate sphere is not trampled upon.

So, absolutely No. 1. I love going there!!!

Keep on running

Last Saturday, Tomi and I went (ran out) to Margaret Island.

He warned me that the distance would be much longer than my usual 5 km.

Of course, I boldly played it out in my head that if I can run 5 km, why wouldn't I be able to run much, much more.

I had a dose of need for approval, and I wanted Tomi to finally see that he could really give me a little trust if he saw how much perseverance and strength I had in me.

Encouraged by this, I set off like a hunted animal, at my own (apparently not too slow) pace, despite Tomi asking me to run with him at his pace.

I only forgot that while I completed 5 km with full effort, using even my last energy reserves, I should now be conserving for what lay ahead.

I didn't!!

Result: 8.01 km without stopping, Tomi, in how many minutes???

3 dead points, 2 terrible chills and shortness of breath, but damn it, I did it!!!!!!!!

First, I wanted to cry, I suffered so much, then I was proud of myself and thought, I've jumped past my own level again, I've conquered myself and crossed my limits! J

On the way home, I just smiled!

As Tomi saw it: He was angry, fuming.

He said he wrote about this in his blog, that people rush into it thoughtlessly, without any mental preparation, and then after 10 minutes, they're walking and gasping for air (I didn't do this, of course, but I could have, if my body had given up)

He was right!

I endured the end terribly hard, he kept watching me out of the corner of his eye and often spoke to me... I don't really remember what he said, because my brain had completely shut down, I only understood one thing when he said:

"You'll run the whole way, don't worry, you'll be fine, your body can handle the strain."

I believed him and ran it.

Again, I didn't get what I wanted to hear. There were no hymns, no odes about how awesome I am. Instead, I got a telling-off, which was the last thing I expected in that state.

In the end, though, he mumbled under his breath that he was proud of me.

Since then, I only run the prescribed 2x 5km per week, but I realized that if I slowed down a bit, 8km could have been 10km.

I long to open new and new doors for myself by overcoming myself with every move and action I make. It's such a divine feeling!

The punchline

I left the most important part for the end, so everyone has to read my letter to find out if there's a visible result from my performance over the past 12 days.

According to others: I've lost weight, it's noticeable, my face has slimmed down (I see it too), my thighs and "butt" have gotten thinner, and guess what, my collarbones are visible, more than before. J

Oh, and as for my breasts, I can slowly say goodbye to them. I used to have them, now I'd say they're sweet, palm-sized, but I don't mind, because the shape remained, and yes, rather shapely thighs and butt than a hot busty huge butt...

Of course, I judge it completely differently, I don't dare to comment, and the weighing is still to come. For now, the mirror tells me more than anything, and I'm starting to feel good in my own skin.

Although I still say it's only been 12 days, and I ask that no one expect sky-high changes after less than 2 weeks, I can say that this is worth it even for an idiot, let alone for me. J J I still have 8 weeks, everyone keep that in mind!!!!!
