Road to....-50 kg
Megosztás
Sometime around April-May, I stepped on the scale and thought, "This can't go on..."
At the beginning of my lifestyle change, I used to go to aerobics 3-4 times a week. Things were progressing, but I never weighed myself, I just felt better in my skin. Around June, I accidentally stumbled into a spinning class and completely fell in love (whether with cycling or the guy - I don't know), but the point is that I became quite a spinning fanatic. The first time I heard about the Merida Spinning Night, which meant 6 hours of cycling, and I vowed to do it. This was the goal. Not clothes, not kilos, but this. I started cycling 3-4-5 times a week, then in August, I was already doing double sessions, 10 times a week, so I wouldn't fail at Merida. Only this was in front of my eyes, this was my goal. The big day came, Merida, 4 hours straight, then an hour break, and then another hour of cycling, I did it.
By then, I had heard about Lifetilt, and obviously, like many others, I found the site through Bitchair. At this point, I think I was already down about 10-12 kg, but without any special program, just completely cutting out sugar and fat from my life.
When Slim3 started, I noticed the blog again, and from mid-November, I got serious. I started Tilting, and I also started running because I wanted to go to my first Runtilt, where it was evident that I couldn't endure the shame of being the last to cross the finish line. Although Tomi told me at the beginning that if I had only run indoors until then, I shouldn't hope it would work out. This motivated me even more, and I did it, and I wasn't even last. When I started running, I thought, "Okay, let's see how I do on the treadmill with the Cooper test," which I always walked through in high school. Needless to say, it was still a torment, but I did it, I didn't stop. I covered about 1000m. The next time, 1200m, then I started increasing the time. 15...20 minutes without stopping. With this pace, I developed it to the point where I was running 8km outdoors in January. I'm not going for speed, but for distance, and to walk as little as possible, or not at all.
I think that if someone has as much excess weight as I did (50kg), they shouldn't aim to lose 20 or more, but rather have 5kg goals. Then there will be more success and you won't give up. This is my "tactic," and my motivational clothes... I always have one I want to fit into :) So, if I can lose weight, anyone can. Follow Tomi's blog, it helped me a lot too. Thank you to him too, even though he didn't give me the initial push, he rather accelerated me when I would have slowed down. But thank you for keeping my spirits up, and those of hundreds of women. I'll take another before-after picture at the end of summer and in December, until then, keep, keep running,
