Obstacle course July 5.
Megosztás
Now, I could say that the RunTilt movement started two years ago today, but to be honest, I really don't remember which day the first one was, only that it was July 2011.
I look back on those times with nostalgic romanticism, because, for example, I vividly remember Scitec threatening me with a lawsuit, and that the first RunT!lt run was actually canceled after I sent everyone to hell in a post and went to Barcelona with my friends for 4 days.
After we got back, I announced the first community LifeT!lt run again, though I didn't see much point in it, as I was almost certain no one would show up. LifeTilt barely had 2000 likes, and by the end of the month, I only had cafeteria vouchers in my pocket, or not even that. Back then, there wasn't this daily live coffee drinking; Réka was tearing up megabytes with 60 likes, Kristóf was probably circling in China, mentally creating the Asimovian mysteries of stair climbing, and in July 2011, no one had even seen me live. The RunTilt in July 2011 was the first time I met the readers, and for them, it finally became clear who this enormous ass writing this blog called LifeT!lt was.
Nineteen. That's how many people came to the first run. It clearly illustrates the changes taking place at LifeTilt that out of 19 people, 17 were guys, and only 2 girls showed up on Margaret Island. Today, LifeT!lt is read by 83% women, and the group workouts are almost exclusively attended by women.

That's all I wanted to say about reminiscing, and also that at LifeT!lt's 1st birthday, a girl knocked over the birthday cake. That affected me so deeply back then that I haven't been able to look at birthday cakes since, so there won't be one this time either.
So, RunT!lt is also 2 years old. I haven't prepared fireworks, and there won't be a cake to knock over; we'll simply commemorate the passing of time quietly and run a lap around Margaret Island. The distance, as always, will be 5.3 km, and as before, there will be 4 groups to start in, depending on physical condition.
After the run, there will be a barbecue in the nearby meadow, and although I'd love nothing more than to really let loose at this event, unfortunately, I can't, as I've been on a program for 23 days. But regardless, you guys bring drinks; I'm not afraid that there won won't be someone who takes advantage of the opportunities offered by the event.
As for food, the girls should bring salad, and the guys some meat, and whatever else they think of. The party on the island will last until 1 AM, depending on the number of mosquitoes, so bring mosquito repellent too.
The party starts with a whistle.
