RunTilt Santa Claus run Tuesday, December 6, 6:00 PM, Margaret Island fountain

"The first winter run will be on Saturday, December 3rd. Since Santa Claus Day is on the 6th, we thought we should run in Santa hats. For those who don't have one, we can provide a limited number."

UPDATE: We were at Nike Running and it was awesome...

I would also like to say a few things about the 6th Runtilt run, which will also be the first Santa Claus run, appropriately in snowfall, if the forecasts are to be believed. I don't want to overstate the matter. I have already said what I wanted to say about winter running and appropriate clothing in the introduction to the 5th RunTilt; if you haven't read it yet, please do. Since this run will also be the first "night" run, it's good to know that the running track on Margaret Island is illuminated along its entire length, so you don't need to arrive with halogen lamps, because visibility will not be an issue, as the video also shows...

"LED technology is quite new..." LOL

Since the 6th Runtilt will be a Santa Claus run, the condition for participation is now to have a Santa hat. This is not optional, so you can only start with a Santa hat. I'm going to Tesco tonight because I saw hats for 80 forints. I'll buy a bunch, so if you can't get one yourself by then, you'll get one of these nylon wonders at the start. The groups remain, and I was thinking that since it's Santa Claus, I should give you some kind of gift, and I came up with the following: the girls will get a huge switch, and the boys will get nothing.

Come and experience how much different it feels to run in a country that's now in the junk category... It's going to be awesome.
