So, the first 15 days have passed, and along with that, I've overcome a few things:

- a completely alcohol-free, pure water-only house party and a reunion party

- a family lunch with my parents in the countryside, which was like a small pan-European picnic (actually, at the beginning, there was even a peace demonstration feeling against my lunch)

- Easter lunch, a big family birthday gathering (with the Hungarian folk call-and-response starting with "eat cake - why aren't you eating - just a bite" J )

- the first movie without nachos, but with extremely increased salivation J

- countless "no"s: to grandma's homemade sour cherry strudel, dad's homemade palinka, and I could go on

- kilometers run in the dark / rain / wind

Before you think I'm about to erect a statue of myself in Heroes' Square, I must tell you that it's not as incredibly difficult as it might seem from the outside. I eat delicious, nutritious, and high-quality food that I prepare myself (in about 20 minutes every evening). I also enjoy being able to say no to things I would have previously said yes to, thinking, "well, it's Easter/my birthday/a party/a bad day/a good day: it fits." This is why we are human, to be able to live consciously and command our instincts. It's also great that I'm already running kilometers in fives, and I've started to enjoy it. (Anyone who remembers my fitness test knows what this means.)

So, these were the past 15 days, but the next 55 are much more important, so I'm not looking back, but forward, because I can't wait for the progress, the new results, the new challenges to be overcome with gritted teeth. Because the best is yet to come! J

P.S.: clothes fitting next week, I can't wait :)
