Slim3 Imola Day 20 –4kg

We have eventful weeks behind us. This is true for me, the other Slims, and most people who live their lives and don't just sit around in the mud.

Getting into a program that hundreds of people apply for was a challenge for me, but I didn't really realize then that completing it would be an even greater challenge, because the expectations are high. Still, I believe that I set the highest expectations for myself.

Fortunately, I have many people around me who love, support, and encourage me. These companions, besides my family, are the most important factors, as your true friends are your chosen family. When I started the program, I didn't trumpet to the world, "Hear ye, I've become a Slim!" Only my closest circle knew. Now, acquaintances and strangers alike are reaching out to me, telling me how much they're rooting for me. This is always a little push, telling me that I made the right decision, I'm doing well, but I cannot walk the path for others; I want them to choose the right path too.

The diet itself is absolutely sustainable, and I'm not saying this because it's my job to pretend it's easy and that you're a failure if you can't do it. I'm saying it because it's true. Five meals a day keep me level, and I'm not hungry. I'm not saying I don't miss a good stuffed cabbage with fresh, crispy white bread sometimes, but you win some, you lose some. And it's utter nonsense to call this a diet; it truly needs to be a lifestyle change. You feel it yourself, it's better if you don't collapse into bed from exhaustion after lunch, but rather go about your business, or if for breakfast you don't just grab a pastry, but eat an apple, oatmeal, and some kefir. I see it as having given me a huge foundation in terms of eating, on which I can continue to build in the future.

As for the workouts, we don't spare ourselves. It's tough. It hurts. You have to die a little in every workout to be stronger next time. This is how you develop, and you see it. You see that your legs aren't so bumpy, that the skin on your arms isn't hanging as much, that you no longer stop to walk after running 3 km, you've improved your average by a minute... these things energize you during workouts, and this is also a foundation on which a roof can be built in the future.

And as for Tomi. Tomi is constantly attacked; his personality is incredibly divisive, not only online but in real life too. There were people who specifically tried to warn me that I was getting into bad hands if I started the program. I didn't come to him to make friends; I don't tolerate my friends lecturing me. I needed his guidance and the knowledge he had acquired throughout his work. Yet, after almost a month, I believe I received much more from him on a human level than I expected. He chose me for a great team where friendships were formed and lives began to transform. Tomi receives a lot of attacks, and now I can confidently say, they are unfounded. As hard as it is for me to write, you're not as much of a jerk as they've made you out to be of course, in your better moments.
