Slim3 Sash Ceremony Day 0

I have to disappoint those who think this country is dying, and that no one has a future here, because this country is not dying, it has been dead for a long time.

Everywhere we look, everything is crumbling around us, there are no alternatives, no competitive salaries, doctors perform life-saving surgeries with Wizz Air tickets in their pockets, and in universities, the question is no longer which company, but which country they will find employment in. English is almost becoming the official language in England, Hungarian girls are dancing in cafes in Italy, our engineers are drawing in Germany, babysitting jobs are almost exclusively advertised in Hungarian all over the world, and generally, there's such a level of emigration happening these days that I'm genuinely surprised anyone besides tourists still speaks Hungarian on Oktogon. The government is now trying some pathetic measures to keep the generation born after 1980 in the country, making them sign papers that they have to stay here for years after graduation, but I see it this way: you shouldn't keep a girl by chaining her leg and locking the apartment door, but by behaving in a way and providing conditions so she doesn't want to leave us. The problem is that not only twenty-year-olds are fleeing like they're at a Krisztián Zámbó concert, but entire families are packing up, leaving behind decades of existence and liquidating everything.

Viola is the youngest of a family of 7, where her father, mother, and 3 siblings are already generating GDP in Sweden, and Viola will join them in March at the end of the program, leaving Hungary for good. Viola is currently looked after by her sister, who will also join the Ibrahimovicses after completing her law degree.

This is extremely sad in a way, and this is exactly the process I'm talking about. Viola figure skated competitively for 10 years, but unfortunately, her other 4 siblings also do, and her parents could no longer finance 5 children's competitions, so they had to decide which two of their children would have to stop competitive sports. We're talking about crushing dreams here, and Viola had to wake up from this dream. When this story came up at the casting, I felt that immense pain in her, and that's exactly why I chose her. I simply didn't want her to experience another disappointment by not getting into Slim3. I didn't intend to start her in this category; at the casting, I explicitly told her she didn't make it, but for the reasons mentioned above, I called her back, and ultimately decided on her.

This is why I love documented weight loss journeys, because they show real lives, where not only weight loss is illustrated and the daily lives of women are presented, but now they also provide insight into the lives of entire generations. A mirrored society, breaking down the female population of a country by age group from teenage years up to their sixties. Women who represent generations, set examples, and demonstrate on themselves that no matter how old one is, no matter where one's life stands, it's never too late to start, one can always change. This is what Slim3 Generations is about, and now, for the third time, the show begins, the band plays again, the curtain rises, and on stage, 6 women rewrite the lines. Choose role models, change everything, just as they will do in the upcoming 70 days.

Viola

Hi, I'm Viola, 18 years old, and as a senior, I got into Slim3, which I'm very happy about! The whole program is about to start, I can hardly believe it, in fact, I don't believe it. Of course, I put off my report until the last minute, and I have to admit that's how it usually is with everything.

I applied for Slim3 to lose weight, and secondly, I think the whole program is a very good character builder, it gives an opportunity and a chance to continue our journey more successfully, and to dare to start new things, because just because something is new and difficult doesn't mean it's bad. After a few failed diets, I always thought that I didn't care, whoever loves me loves me as I am, and whoever doesn't love me this way can go to hell, but I had to realize that I hate myself the most this way, so I have to change, and if it hasn't worked alone so far, then maybe I need help, that's why I applied. (Although I never thought I'd get in.)

When Tomi finally chose me, I wanted to back out, instinctively I started looking for excuses that I could actually lose weight by myself, I know the methods, I don't need a program or help for this, besides my parents didn't support me, and all my enthusiasm for the whole thing vanished, and then I gave myself a big "slap in the face" that excuses and laziness wouldn't control my life, I'll go for it, even if it will be painful and demand great sacrifices. I need this program because I need expectations to be placed on me, and to have to go running, training. So I'm really looking forward to it starting, of course, I also have fear and doubt, but it's a good kind of fear, one that will push me forward, at least I hope so.
