Day 30

A month has passed, and as expected, the slimes are starting to fall apart. Primarily emotionally, of course, but mentally too, which is not only due to the diet, weeks of training, and calorie deficits. Around the twentieth day, there was a truly amazing 3-4 day period when all 3 slimes seemed to collapse simultaneously. For Erika, 8 years of problems came to the surface; for Vivien, a private life crisis emerged; while for Adri, the usual complexes simply gained more and more ground. The slimes don't know it yet and are minimally aware of it, but their depression and emotional breakdown are not simply caused by the diet and training, nor by "women's problems". Something much bigger is in the making, which they will have to resolve entirely in their minds. Three new women are being born on the threshold of three new lives, with completely different foundations, new opportunities, and much wider boundaries than they currently imagine...

Erika is starting to rediscover the woman she lost 12 years ago. This change and the accompanying realizations shocked her the most, which is perfectly reflected in her interview. After the interview, I was worried about Erika and saw a serious chance that she would give up her program. Too many problems overwhelmed her at once, and I was afraid whether she would be able to face and solve her long-forgotten problems, or if she would flee from them, scared of herself and her thoughts. Vivien will be a damn good woman in 60 days, which she will have to manage well and experience how many more doors will open for her simply because people will see a confident, beautiful girl in front of them. The program will not only put your body in order but also your emotional and mental world, and it's good if you are prepared for this. The countless injustices, humiliations, suppression by friends, all because of your body and appearance, all that damned humiliation, will come to the surface as your program progresses. You will no longer live with your head bowed, resigned, giving up, because of the attacks against you, because you will no longer tolerate them. You will draw the line and say, "that's enough, no more." The program and becoming a more beautiful and prouder person is one of the fundamental benefits of the program, and this is what truly distinguishes Lifetilt from other fancy-pants diets. This is not just a diet, but a program, a community, of which the diet and 3-5 workouts a week over 70 days are a part.

Not everyone is ready for the program. Some are just not ready now, but some will never be. Some are simply not even capable enough to start, while others will start but give up after 1-2 weeks, and the real difficulty will only come after that, because you will only face the hardest part of the program when you start seeing visible changes. Everyone has a proud and success-hungry person within them, the ego, vanity, the elevation of ourselves to a pedestal, and imagining ourselves as special, which can fundamentally be eroded by two factors. One is the educational factor, meaning how much we have trained our minds in schools, which consequently places us in the existential caste we deserve, while the other will be our appearance, which fundamentally determines our presentation. Basically, one follows from the other, because our self-imposed standards are fundamentally determined by our education, and thus by the everyday living conditions around us. When I wrote that this blog is only accessible above a certain level, that is exactly what I meant. Maintaining a strict diet while doing physical labor in three shifts is almost impossible, just as going to workouts after work is only possible if you do intellectual work. The costs associated with diet and workouts, and nutritional supplements, represent additional expenses that are only accessible above a certain level. The program, as I said, is a very serious filter. To even begin, you need to be at a level that not everyone has. It's no accident that the Tilt is read by a qualified segment. Simply because the message doesn't even reach the lower strata, they are not interested, they don't have the money, and their standards are not high enough to reflect on what is written here. The program is a qualifier of human qualities, which you either dare to face or continue to bluff your way through life. It's possible to live in the "that's good enough" state, of course, and no one will notice, but it's not certain that it's worth it.

Vivien is being reborn before my eyes, and it's an absolutely incredible feeling, not just for her, but for me too. We have now reached the point with Vivien, which is one of the most difficult tasks to achieve from sluggishness, namely that she has started to enjoy running and no longer views the diet as suffering to endure instead of a chocolate croissant, but as the most important factor improving her quality of life. She has to learn to love these things because nothing will work out of compulsion. So, with Vivien, I paid special attention during each run to ensure she had a sense of achievement at the end. I had her run at a pace that would make her proud of herself at the end of the workouts, while her performance was constantly improving. A month ago, after 300 meters of running, Vivien experienced nausea, headache, and side stitches. Yesterday, she ran around Margaret Island, which is 5.3 km, without stopping, 28 days after starting the program!!!! The numbers say it all for me, and that's why we're here. Let's ask Vivien what she thinks of her former self a month ago, and then ask her how she sees herself now. The progress is enormous, and even more striking is how Vivien is experiencing this change. The more she achieves, the hungrier she gets for success, and that's where the bars that need to be raised come into play, because a month ago, Vivi couldn't even imagine running 2 km, and now she's easily doing 5. From now on, 2 km is a failure, and 5 km is the starting point. Do you understand what I'm talking about? If you rest on your laurels here, you can go to hell, and you've failed – that's what you finally need to understand. The program is 70 days, in case of significant overweight, 90, which means there's no stopping, no complacency during this time. You keep going, you don't look back, you don't frame your self-portrait based on your results, but you always focus on the next workout and constantly raise your expectations for yourself. That's what the program is about, and that's how your life will fundamentally change…

Vivien

I've been through a few low points. In the past two weeks, there have been several times when I really didn't feel like going to Pest and running 3km. I also had a lot of problems in my private life, and because of this, I even cancelled a training session. Of course, I regret it now and I'm very ashamed of it, but on that Monday, I felt so bad that I wasn't even willing to go out into the street. Bence and I discussed things, and I promised him that this would never happen again, which of course I mean seriously. I can't be this weak. And he's right, I have to be able to separate my problems from the program. People go to work even when they feel really miserable, because it's their duty. And I committed to this program. With diet, training, suffering... the whole nine yards.

When I go to train with Bence, the smell of freshly baked pastries always hits me in the underpass. It's very delicious, and I always enjoy those few steps where you can really smell it. Sometimes, however, the smell and the sight of me not being able to eat it frankly annoy me. But when I look at those overweight people standing there, their palms already sweating waiting for their sausage croissant, it's a great feeling that I'm no longer among them, and I simply move on proudly. I'm less and less bothered if someone near me is eating food that's forbidden for me. It no longer upsets me, and I'm absolutely not interested. Dad is baking pumpkin right now... hmm, it smells fantastic, and I love it, but I've gotten used to not being able to eat what they bake and cook at home during these 30 days.

My name day was on December 2nd. My mom, of course, was very prepared. She cooked all day in the kitchen. She made a separate little lunch for me again. Then came dessert, which of course I didn't get. Mom asked Ati if he wanted chestnut puree? Ati said no, because he didn't want to torment me... Finally, I was able to explain to him that he should just eat it, because it didn't bother me at all anymore. My mom still retreats to the bedroom with her snacks so I don't see what she's eating, even though I've told her a few times that I really don't care. Only my younger brother tries to shove his ice cream spoon into my mouth, saying, "Vivi! This won't do you any harm, you won't gain a single kg!" In the past, of course, I would have accepted these without a word, and now he doesn't understand why I resist him ;)

Meanwhile, I met some acquaintances I hadn't seen in a long time. Every single one of them commented, "Wow, you've lost so much weight and you're looking better and better." It's very noticeable on your face and stomach, and even your thighs are slimmer... I can't even tell you how good these words feel and how much they recharge me. I don't just see the change in the inches and on the scale, but also in my clothes. I have a pair of pants that I couldn't button up at the beginning of the program. Now they're getting looser and looser on me. The black belt I usually put on my hips with some of my tops, I wore it the other day and buckled it into the last hole, as I was used to. The belt simply slipped off me. I was very happy when I saw that the fourth hole was enough.

For almost a year now, I've had a headache every day. It starts in the afternoon and lasts until I fall asleep. Since I started the program, I've noticed from one day to the next that my headache has completely disappeared. That is, the year-long constant headache completely disappeared after one month of diet and exercise. I'm very happy about this, as that pain cast a shadow over my every day. I didn't feel well, and sometimes I even took 2 painkillers in the evening, but they didn't have any effect. So, my headache is gone. My general well-being has improved. I feel better and better in my body. I don't have binge eating episodes. There are more and more compliments, glances. And I no longer have to reach for XL tops on the shelves. Oh... and next year, I'd like that certain number on the scale to start with a 6...

And last but not least, one of the greatest recognitions of the program: today I ran my first ever lap around the island! Unfortunately, I don't know the time due to technical problems, but I didn't stop once! Me. Vivien Nagy. The anti-sportsperson. Do I need any greater confirmation than that?!
