Conscious Eating IV. Vegetarians

Vegetarians can be divided into two main groups. One group consists of true vegetarians, who emphasize conscious living and conscious eating, while the other large group is made up of "fashion vegans" – that is, all those people who cause conscious vegetarians to constantly receive criticism. Being a fashion vegetarian and "hipster" like that is a mood, a passing fad like planking or Instagram, but being a true vegan means a consciously lived life. Veganism is also a very attractive social alternative because it clearly signals belonging to the middle class, and there is some truth to this, because I have never seen anyone from the lower classes eating ferns, checking tickets or passes...

So, I found a real vegan girl who will show what everyday vegetarian life is really like. What are her thoughts, why did she decide this way, and why does she have to fight with narrow-minded, ignorant assholes every single day just because she is a vegetarian. Veganism is a choice that should be respected, and people shouldn't fall off their chairs when someone says, "I don't eat meat." If someone stuffs their face with a lot of crap, that's completely normal. If someone orders a huge plate of tripe and then lights up two cigarettes, no one will bother them about it, but if someone next to them orders a grilled zucchini with vegetable garnish, they look at them as if they were a member of a suicide cult and start asking about their childhood and whether everything is really alright?

So, a vegan girl will come who will do a 70-day Lifetilt Vegan diet program, and the system will be tested on her. But before I introduce her properly, let's talk a little about veganism. First of all, there are several types of vegetarians, in addition to the already mentioned true ones and the "bird-brained" Cosmo vegans.

Semi vegetarian who eats fish, and sometimes even chicken or turkey, but not so much beef.

Lacto-Ovo vegetarians only consume eggs and dairy products, nothing else of animal origin, or anything that has a face or makes a sound.

Ovo vegetarians do not consume dairy products, but do consume eggs.

Lacto vegetarians do not consume eggs, but do consume dairy products. Don't ask, I don't understand it either.

Vegans are the truly crazy ones, because they completely eliminate all animal products from their diet. Vegans become Scientologists, and no true Greenpeace activist has a serious vegan past. Someone should tell vegans someday that plants are living beings too, and they certainly feel a stronger pruning, not to mention the lawnmower holocaust. The point is, vegans live exclusively on plant-based foods. In addition, there are some who sustain themselves only on fruits and various juices, but I won't go into detail about the truly insane ones right now.

Vegetarians usually refer to themselves as conscious eaters, as it takes a lot of research and reading to avoid developing deficiency diseases. They live on a consciously compiled, healthy diet, but some only look at what has no bloodstream, so chocolate, onion rings at Burger King, and a wide variety of sweets and pastas immediately become serious alternatives, which can lead to serious obesity, vegetarianism or not.

If one does vegetarian eating well and not one-sidedly, then one can indeed live healthier than an "average" person. Among vegetarians, there is a lower incidence of heart attack, stroke, high blood pressure, diabetes, and certain cancerous diseases, such as bowel diseases. A study by Colin Campbell, lasting 30 years, proved that cardiovascular disorders, cancer, and diabetes are more common the higher the amount of animal protein in the diet. So, the more meat you eat, the sooner you end up in oncology. By the way, this vegetarian thing is really not stupid, and put together cleverly, a damn healthy life can be lived with it, the problem starts with the fact that it is damn hard to stick to it and put it together correctly for ourselves. Because there are, for example, those vegetarians who don't drink milk. More milk, fewer bones, if I wanted to simplify things greatly. This is still the case, even if we were burned into our minds as children that we should drink milk because it makes our bones strong. Yes, but the directive of the agitation center is flawed in that nowadays, the higher the consumption of dairy products, the higher the chance of osteoporosis, because the human body can only process milk in its natural state, and the calcium in milk can only be incorporated into the bones then. This was perhaps the case until the 1930s, but then they started pasteurizing and homogenizing milk, which also killed the enzymes in the milk that would help with the incorporation processes. So, instead of calcium being incorporated, only lime builds up in the bones. So, milk a goat yourself, that's for sure.

:)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Damn, you can't watch this enough times. Sorry, but this osteoporosis topic was quite boring, so I went on YouTube in the meantime, and I ended up here. And since I was here, I watched it about thirty times, and it's pretty great.

Now, here's a list, titled something like a vegetarian bible. A very useful list for everyone to customize things as a vegan, if the Tilt sample diets aren't to their liking, but if that's the case, you can just jump out the window. In addition to this, and so that this post can be the IV. part of Conscious Nutrition, here's an extra piece of information: which foods contain which vitamins and trace elements. This is useful not only for vegans.
